He didn't have any idea of what he was doing. I had to make him change thing and show him how to figure things out. The first thing that was wrong was they put up the rafters as high as the roof on the house so that didn't leave any room for the metal roof. They had to take everything down and lower it. Then they didn't leave the metal hanging over the gutters so they had to cut the rafters off for that. They didn't hang the gutters right so all the seams leak and they didn't put a flange plate on the back of the gutters so the water runs between the gutter and face board of the roof. I would let him do any kind of work for me again. We had rain today and it leaked where he tied the roof to the house in two places. The job should of been done in a week and it took him and 2 helper 3 weeks.
