We had used ServiceTex previouisly to install a complete system at our residence. This time the air conditioning failed at our rental property. I called at 8AM the next day and explained what had happened and asked if there was any way to get a service tech that day. The person who answered explained they were in the process of scheduling the day's calls and she would call back with an appointment time. In fifteen minutes, she called back and said they definitely could be there today and she asked what time would be convenient for us. I asked if it could be after lunch to accommodate my scheduled and she agreed. She explained that the tech would call before starting to the house. That afternoon, I received the call from Andrew saying he was on his way and should be there in twenty minutes. He arrived as promised and quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad fan motor. Because he was local, he was able to return to the shop and get the part in about twenty minutes. He quickly replaced the motor and the capacitor explaining that it was important that both be replaced at the same time. Once the motor was installed and running, he checked the compressor operation and cleaned the dirty coil fins to lower the operating pressures. We called ServiceTex because of the excellent service we received when they replaced the complete system at our house. Once again, they provided quick, reliable and cost-effective service. Andrew is personable and willing to explain the what and why of his recommendations.
