Austin Pond Cleaning

Austin Pond Cleaning is the name, but they do it all – and they do it well. Don is personable, knowledgeable, and will be the answer to whatever your pond needs - or to the pond you want built. I chose them from reading online reviews and it was a great choice. I had serious leak problems and was able to diagnose the problem, but Don was the answer to fixing them (he can diagnose yours if you can’t). When he came to look at my pond it was evident that he knew ponds, pond plants, Koi, and even the name of the red dragonfly that visits my pond daily. Don is friendly and helpful, and has wonderful attitude. Amanda, the scheduler, was also very helpful. The cost was very reasonable for the work done, the appointments were kept on time, and my large Koi were handled very carefully. Don is a Koi whisperer, they almost crawled into the net for him. The work done just as discussed, it was timely, everyone was personable, and at a reasonable cost – all excellent.

Took a little time due to some miscommunication. Once cleared up, work was completed in an expedient manner.

A two man team worked Thursday afternoon, Friday and Saturday morning installing a skimmer through the rock surrounding the pond and draining the pond and bog (including removing 18 koi to another tub while they worked). This is a large pond (3500 gallons) and it was extremely dirty and full of algae. Don and Nicholas were very meticulous with exceptional attention to detail. We have had bad experiences with getting other services to even respond to phone calls. Don was very responsive and showed up on time and did the work for the price he had quoted. The pond looks beautiful now and the koi are very happy in their new clean home. It's the first time in several years that the water is clear and we can see and enjoy the fish. I would highly recommend this company to others in Austin looking for high quality pond services at a reasonable price.

Everything went well. Don made a special trip from Hutto, TX to our home west of Buda, TX on a Sunday afternoon. He was personable and professional, and we shall use Austin Pond Cleaning for any future problems with our pond.

This was a great experience with someone recommended from Angie's List. It's refreshing to deal with service people who come promptly, act courteously, give an accurate estimate and complete the work as promised. This is a business that we would recommend highly for any work that needs to be done on a pond.

Don was professional, punctual and did an excellent job. This is not the first time that I've hired him to help me with my algae farm... excuse me... koi pond, and it probably won't be the last. He acknowledges that he can be difficult to reach by phone and has plans to improve his communication with customers.

Don is punctual, passionate, reasonable and knowledgeable. He did a great job - our fish survived the cleaning and he enhanced the beauty of our backyard pond. He also gave us much needed advice on how to maintain in between visits.
