"I understand these things are stressful. To respond to a few statements in the review - Yes it has been nearly 3 months sense your move on 7-8-17.. You filed the claim on the 11th and the payout form went out on the 15th. Your did not return this form to us till 9-10-17. Same day a check was mailed out on 9-11-17. On 9-27-17 You called and emailed saying you did not get the check and would be going out of town for 3 weeks starting on the 1st. Today the 28th yes we acknowledged yes its probably lost in the mail. However we will need to wait for it to circulate in the mail and be forward back to us so we can either resend it out or you can pick up from our office. Your choice. You wanted it now and Kika was only explaining we can do a stop payment on the open check for you if you really wanted it right now today but there is a 35.00 bank stop fee for that. Yes, this sounds horrible... I agree... As for the "ruined" part, any damage sucks... We are constantly reprimanding and even terminating employees that don't take care of customers belongings and cause damage. Your couch has nicks on the feet and bottom corners... this was all she was meaning by its still usable, not ruined. Damage from moves unfortunately happens and we cannot pay out $1200.00 for every couch that gets a nick. There would be no movers.... Your check should be returned to us by the time you get back in town in 3 weeks. If its still not back to us by then that will have given the post office 5 full weeks to return it to us. If its not back by then I have no problem eating the stop payment on it and will issue you out a new one."
"[Member Name Removed], Claims take time to investigate, address and act on. I understand this can be a frustrating process so even the 2-3 days it took to figure everything out probably felt like weeks. There were alot of back and forth and other issues that needed to be addressed during your moves(s). Way to much to try and mention in this reply but in the end I tried to make you happy by going above and beyond by just completely refunding your three moves with us. In total $2486.59 - This should be considerably more then what would be required to repair the items that were damaged during the move(s). Im sorry we let you down. -Marcus"

"Im sorry for the mix up on the trash haul off, we do charge for this service. We do over 500 moves per month and to haul off trash for each one we just simply wouldnt have the dumpster space for it all. As for them doing it on the side and creeping you out I apologize they made you feel this way and after tomorrow those two will no longer be employed here."
Then I got a call a day later asking how my move went. Seriously.
"There is more to this story then the customer is telling. On June 27th we confirmed a June 29th move date with a 7-8am arrival window. Crew showed up at 7:11am, I called customer to see where she was and got her voicemail. At 7:18am I called again, voicemail again... 7:22am I called and told customer with out contact from her I would need to send the crew on to another job.... At 7:31am I left another voicemail saying I was sending the crew on to another job and if she needed to get back on the calendar for service to give me a call.. At 9:00AM customer finally called back and said she was booked for 11am-1pm but she confirmed a 7-8am on the 27th. Customer hit the fan and said if we were not there at 11am sharp she was going to report us to the BBB and leave us all kinds of bad reviews on yelp and anywhere else she could... We tried to explain to customer that all crews were out working and we could get a crew out there later in the day as the jobs finish but it wouldn't be 11am sharp. All I got was a response of "[Expletive}" from the customer via email... At this point I lost all respect in trying to get the customer taken care of. She confirmed the wrong date, she went crazy on us over the phone and email and there was no pleasing this lady so I was NOT sending a moving crew out to this kind of environment regardless what time the crews were able to come out and move her."
"Sorry for the confusion - this happens a lot when one spouse books the move and the other spouse is there during the move. Everything that was explained during booking doesn't get relayed between the two."
When they got to my new place, they did not handle the boxes very delicately. After they left I noticed that at least half of the boxes were placed upside down and I had a really hard time unpacking them. I felt like they were very unprepared and they made my move more difficult than it should have been.
"Im not sure why people dont like trailers - our trailers are 24ft long, 8.5ft tall and 8.5ft wide. the same size as a 26ft uhaul and larger then a 24ft pensky. Our trailers are only a foot off the ground and the ramp is 7ft wide. a box truck is 4ft off the ground with a 30inch wide ramp. Our trailers load and unload faster then box trucks do. This is why we use them. We use diesel f250 and 350s to pull these trailers and are well maintained - Im not sure what you are meaning by not able to get up to highway speed, once loaded we instruct all drivers to limit to 60-65mph for safety. Also everyone of our trucks come with 4 dollies.. Nothing on this review seems to add up here. I wish you would have contacted our office during your move instead of a random review 8 months later. I hope your next move goes better. thank you!"
