LOWE'S

Last year we had a deck put in our back yard but the first step was 11" high, that a bit high. So we added an extra step that was 5 1/2" tall to make it a little easier to step up. I worked with them before. They sub-contract the work out to another company.

 Lowes called and said door would still be $199 but the install would now be $279. I was told Lowes only has 2 contractors they deal with in the Metroplex which I feel is the problem. These two contractors are charging very high rates. Very disappointed with Lowes advertising $97 knowing it will cost more.

We needed to paint some furniture and doors.  I didn't know what type of paint to use.  The Lowe's employee gave us all the options and pros and cons of the different paint types.

I attempted to buy but A/L canceled the order.  Nevertheless, I keep getting e-mails to review the gift card purchase.  Today, they offered a $5 Starbucks card for the review, so this is it.

Purchased a Big deal gift card for LOWE'S. Received the card within a couple of weeks from the purchase date. Would absolutely use gift cards again.

On March 06, 2013, I contacted Angies List who referred me to several different  ”A “rated Plumbing Companies in the Hurst Area, and I choose Baker Brothers Plumbing. The Technician provided was Mr. Sean Smart and he was on time, very professional, credible in explaining what the cause and cure would be to correct the issues I requested to be repaired.  I conversation I told him of my previous bad experience with the installation of the Watts Hot Water Recirculating pump in 2011.  I gave him the Watts Sensor Valve Installation Manual; he looked at the install and told me the device was not correctly installed, in fact backwards. I verified what he said by comparing the (figure 1) inset pictured in the manual and confirmed the device was installed as pictured “Incorrect Installation!”  Within seconds of turning on the tap it was instant hot water. The next day I set the Energy Smart Operational Mode Button of 125 degrees from where it had been set @145 degrees for the last 522 days of operation, and to date there has been no problem with hot water from any tap. I have attached documentation that will support some of the detail I have provided. I have spent the last 17 months and Lowes is under the incorrect assumption and there was no energy waste caused by the incorrect installation of their sub-contractor that did the install.

I logged onto Lowes to see how much it would cost to have them lay a floor in my kitchen.  I didn't use them because I decided to go with a peel and stick which I did buy at Lowes.  It was a very simple process and my floor looks beautiful.

We were not happy with it at all, it cleaned okay but it was smaller than the dishwasher we replaced and there were several features that we really didn’t like.  We sent them an email and they were very good about exchanging it.  They had a thirty-day return policy, no questions asked, so we went over to Lowe’s and bought another one and they delivered it, picked up the old one, and hauled it off.  We have been thrilled with the new one that we picked out.  We think pretty highly of Lowe’s.  The main thing is the return policy; the way they stand behind everything they sell is what stands the most to me.  They have a huge variety there, they have kitchen aids, whirlpool baths, they have several different brands that are reputable brands, and Lowe’s does stand behind everything they sell.  They do have some good sales and if one uses a Lowe’s card one gets a five percent discount but they are not really any better or any worse, so they are about average in pricing.  We do a lot of business with Lowe’s.

They did a really good job and the price was reasonable. They were really punctual and communicative.

purchased grill and wanted it assembled.  Lowes said it would be ready for pickup in 2 days and it was ready when I came back to get it.

This was a terrible experience.  I purchased a Samsung Side by Side refrigerator for around $2000.  They delivered it, and it didn't have any packaging and had fingerprints all over the stainless steel.  When they installed it there was a box for the water filter but the water filer was missing.  The store managered called me after the delivery to see what to do.  While I was talking to her on the phone, I realized that not only was the water filter missing, but that there were circles on the condensating glass shelves.  Then I noticed on one of the shelves inside the door that there was actually food.  So they delivered to me a used/returned refrigerator and tried to pass it off as new. 
I went back to the store and ordered another refrigerator and asked it to be delivered new in the wrapping.  They picked up the damaged/used one and delivered it on Saturday and unpacked and installed it.  Then the delivery guy said, oh I can give you a couple hundred off of this because it has a little damage.  He showed me the damage at the bottom of the side, and I asked him to pull out the refrigerator.  It wasn't a small dent, but was about 18 inches long, near where the compressor is.  They said if I didn't take this one I would have to wait until they could reorder another one.  I opted to return it. 
I have spent more than three weeks fooling around with Lowe's so I could have a new refrigerator for my new house when I moved in.  However, they just could not make this work.  People should be careful when you buy from them that they don't try to pass off old used dirty appliances as new.

It worked out fine.  It was really pretty easy and I would recommend them.

we went to store picked out the items we wanted they offered an excellent installation price. we brought equipment home. The same day the installation service called to schedule an appointment. We scheduled it for the next day the tech showed up promptly and did all work in a minimum amount of time. He was well dressed & very polite and professional.

I don't need to go there very often but I am happy with their service and I will continue to go to Lowe's.

I grade them with A's across the board.

I choose to buy my sliding glass door from Lowes after shopping around. I also had them install the door. I was pleased when I left the store because the sales rep seemed nice and I had gotten a good price on the door. That is when things turned ugly. The door was installed incorrectly and I was charged an outrageous price for installation. I called twice in June and twice in July and my husband called once to get repairs. We got no response until I actually walked through the door and spoke to the sales manager directly. To make the whole situation worse I was going through a difficult time with chemotherapy which the sales rep knew about.

The countertop arrived in the store within 4 weeks and we were contacted by phone the following week. The countertop was exactly as we ordered it and we are very happy with our purchase. When we picked up the countertop, the ends were covered with cardboard to prevent damage. Lowe's offers installation but we chose to save money and install it ourselves. Because we were able to order it cut-to-size, we just have to cut out the hole for the sink and put the countertop in place. When ordering laminate countertops though, you pay for 8ft or 12ft sections even if your countertop is not that long.

I got immediate service while shopping for a refrigerator at Lowes. The sales person showed me models that met my specific requirements and also told me about other popular features other shoppers were looking for. I received 10% off because I purchased a floor model. Lowes also offers a 4 year extended warranty (after the 1 year manufacturer's warranty ends) for around $100--great price! I purchased the refrigerator at 8pm and Lowes delivered around noon the next day.

THE WORKERS WERE ON TIME. THE WORKMANSHIP WAS NOT GOOD.

VERY COMPETITIVE AND DID A GREAT JOB.

THE CABINETS CAME IN AHEAD OF SCHEDULE AND WE WERE PROMPTLY CALLED. THE CUSTOM CUT CABINETS WERE EXACTLY AS ORDERED AND IT FIT PERFECTLY. THE SALES PEOPLE HELPED US CHOOSE A COLOR THAT WENT WELL WITH THE KITCHEN. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND MADE OUR PROJECT GO SMOOTHLY.

WE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE DELIVERY WAS ALSO GOOD.

SALES CLERKS WERE VERY HELPFUL IN CHOOSING PRODUCTS. GREAT JOB!

THE SALESMAN WAS HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. HE WAS RESPONSIVE TO MY WISH TO SEE MANY MODELS AND SALES PRICES.
