Sure is nice to have a new roof on this rainy Saturday afternoon. Foster Construction installed our new roof last week and we couldn’t be more pleased. We had experienced rain damage from wind and heavy rain with leakage into a bedroom ceiling. They repaired the inside ceiling and replaced the entire new roof. Philip Foster, as owner, not only owns and manages, but he works ho*** ** the job. His crew is courteous and knowledgeable. Lana, in the office, is on top of the job for you. Great! Our roof was replaced a few years ago was poorly done which has led to water leaks. Fosters arrived at the appointed time and found our problem. He came back the next morning and repaired it. He was very professional and we will definitely use him again and gladly recommend him to anyone.

Always on time, reliable, excellent workmanship, clean, reasonably priced. Also did a full remodel of 2 bathrooms making one wheelchair accessible. Interior painting, flooring and general repair were done. They were always on time, thorough with work, always left the site clean and swept, and very reasonably priced. We know the work behind the walls was as excellent as the visible work. Very trustworthy and we highly recommend them.

If you're looking for a company that'll do just about any home improvement projects, make sure to check these guys out. Everyone at Foster's was wonderful to work with throughout the entire thing. We needed to combine a pre-existing storage room and raised-floor workshop and get a concrete slab and wall footer poured in the workshop's place, in which they were more than happy to provide. The owner himself came out for the initial bid survey, gave us two separate quotes for us to choose from that worked with our budget (one with demo included and one without), and was there getting his hands dirty making sure everything was done correctly throughout the entire process. We're absolutely thrilled with the results and definitely will be reaching back out in the future for any more contract work.

Last summer my husband and I had extensive remodeling completed in our home. Phil provided excellent customer service and assisted with ideas, options and planning. He and his wife Lana did a fantastic job working as a team and providing efficiency with timelines on choosing materials such as carpet, paint, flooring, granite and even small items such as hardware and fans. This was super great as my husband and I have busy jobs and could not always stop in the middle of the day to go to stores for selections. We used Foster Remodeling for the big job but have had him back for smaller construction simply because I trust him and he is true to his word in professionalism and quality guaranteed.

This is just a general note. Foster's Remodeling specifically says both here on their Angie's List profile and on their website that they "work within all budgets large or small." This is NOT TRUE. I contacted them fairly recently because I was so impressed by the images of their beautiful work and specifically because of that line about all budgets large or small. I filled out their contact form and mentioned that we were looking to do the work as inexpensively as possible. A day or two later a woman from Foster's called me to inform me that Mr. Foster *only* does "high-end" remodels; that he absolutely will NOT install RTA cabinets or any type of cabinet other than 100% custom ones designed and built by himself on site; that he does not even use less expensive materials like ceramic tile, only marble etc.; and that if I was interested in any kind of "budget" remodel or less expensive materials there was little point in having him come out, because he absolutely did not do that kind of work. She said "high-end" more than once. She was nice enough, but it was clear she didn't think our job was worth Mr. Foster's time. It was pretty clear to me, too, since someone who considers ceramic tile beneath him was not likely to give me an estimate within my 50k budget. However, the experience was, and still is, a bit frustrating; it was a waste of my time to fill out the contact form, and I wasted that time specifically because their website and profiles on this and other sites portray them as being budget-friendly, and interested in finding creative solutions to make smaller budgets go as far as possible. That is not the case. I think other people interested in calling this company ought to know that before they waste their time, too, and are made to feel small, useless, and shabby--and like they're wasting Mr. Foster's time merely by contacting him--because they cannot afford to outfit their entire bathroom in marble. Again, they do beautiful work, and I think anyone who can afford them is probably in very good hands. But they are NOT budget-friendly; they do NOT work within small budgets, and they do NOT, according to the woman setting the appointments, do anything except "high-end" remodeling with the finest, most expensive materials. So if your budget is smaller, save yourself the trouble, and especially the humiliation, of being told you're not good/important enough for this particular contractor to bother with.

We pride ourselves on our quality craftsmanship and materials along with doing it right the first time with zero call backs. During the lengthy initial telephone conversation with the member, Lana learned that the member was interested in installing pre-fabricated cabinets and ceramic tile. At that time, Lana explained to the member that it was not our policy to install pre-fabricated cabinets due to their failure rate. Lana also explained that was not our policy to use ceramic tile due to unstable foundations in Texas, which cause the ceramic tile to crack and fail. Lana explained to her that Phil Foster would be happy to discuss other options with her when he came out to do an estimate. Lana also explained in detail, that when Phil came out he would walk through her project with her, listen to all her ideas, spend time discussing what could and could not be done, and discuss budget friendly options. The member said she would like that and agreed to scheduling an appointment, Lana gave her a date and time. On April 30, Lana called the member to confirm the May 1 appointment, the member informed Lana on that telephone conversation that she no longer needed Foster's Construction to come out. Lana cancelled the appointment as per the member's request. We feel certain that if the member would have kept her appointment, we could have shown her that her project was important and we would have worked with her to find options/solutions that worked best of her and her family. We are sorry that we did not get that chance and wish her the best of luck with her project."

Knowledgable, skilled, professional. Documentation and contract excellent. Entire process went smoothly. Initial project expanded once I saw the quality of work and scheduling opportunity. Excellent concrete work and landscaping. Cedar patio cover design and materials was top notch. Cedar plank also used on exterior wall under patio and to refresh front entrance. Cannot be happier. Left over cedar was used in the new mud room. Washer and dryer relocated and plumbed. Foster's also replaced all the old Masonite siding with Hardy plank. Sealed, caulked, paint exterior. Reset and sealed 10 exterior windows. Interior stairs brought up to code. Hardwood and wrought iron was used. A new railing was installed replacing the previous unsafe rail. Fosters also corrected an unsafe and extremely hazardous electrical issue from a previous contractor. New energy efficient LED lighting installed in main living areas. This company was a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to call them again. My 37 year old house is new again. Thanks Foster's.

The total price was $7,200, about $1000 of the price was an estimate for work by a company that would install a shower door. They were very responsive in coming to give an estimate. It did take them a while to provide that to us, we did have to send them a reminder. I probably would not use them, we don't have a need in our current home.

Everything went very smoothly. It was difficult finding a vanity with the sink on the right so we had to move the plumbing so I could find a vanity that would fit. What I thought was going to be an issue was a breeze for them. They were very good at cleaning up before leaving for the day. They were also very careful in making sure my dogs didn't get out with all the comings and goings. If you are looking for a contractor who does quality work at a fair price with customer service skills that are hard to find these days, look no further. Give Foster's Construction a call. You won't regret it.
