My two older daughters, a sophomore and a senior, took the class prior to an SAT test in January. Both girls enjoyed the classes and my eldest, who was retaking the exam, improved her score by 110 points. It was definitely a worthwhile investment.

The schedule was all appropriately broken up into blocks of English then blocks of math and back again. The instructor did a fabulous job of explaining that the test is really about logic more than anything; it gave me a completely different way of looking at it and made the math much less daunting. He helped them write a practice essay and understand what kinds of things College Board is looking for. As an English teacher, I found the information beneficial for everyone and am using a few of the principals in my classroom; I even show my students a math question here and there and feel confident in explaining how to do them. I cannot express how much this class can give students the confidence to do better on their SAT than they would have on their own.
