Did a excellant job no problems at all and I would highly recommend this company very pleased w the outcome of the finished product, they were on time and left no mess behind, it was a pleasure doing business with them , PLEASE CONSIDER USING THEM.

Some companies promise the moon and then and quot;dashand quot; your expectations. Some companies promise what you are dreaming of and then and quot;dashand quot; off with your cash. In these times of less than reputable contractors it is indeed refreshing to meet someone you can simply just call a PROFESSIONAL and then they back that up with their actions. Carpet Connection was my first experience with wood floors and if I ever need another one done they will be the ones doing it, no question! The estimate was done in my home by Wes the owner of Carpet Connection. We had gotten two other estimates from tile companies to put down tile floors that looked like hardwood. Wes measured, figured the cost, and then asked the 64 thousand dollar question. and quot;have you ever thought about hardwood?and quot; Well sure we had, but the cost was always too much and the budget was always too short to make that jump. Wes gave the most competitive price ever on the job. He was able to give me real hardwood for only $300.00 more than I was quoted for tile! That was a no brainer. Now comes the good part. I paid half of the estimate up front and set the date for the install On Monday morning, right on time, two people showed up to start the job. They demolished the entire tile floor in two days and cleaned up the very dusty mess. From that point the same two people then installed the entire floor of my living room, dining room, and hallway in only two more days. Friday arrived with the Foreman inspecting the final job and checking that we were 100% happy with the results. I paid the remaining balance and thought the process was done. Boy was I wrong! Within days my phone rang and it was Wes himself calling to verify that I was happy with the job! I was not happy I was elated! The value of my home has increased as a result of the new flooring. I can now walk barefoot to the bedroom in winter without having to put on snow shoes. Carpet Connection has restored my faith in the true business professional. At Carpet Connection it seems to be all about the customer, NOT THE CUSTOMERS WALLET! Should you use these guys? H*** yes!

Installing wood flooring in our master bedroom was actually the second time we chose Carpet Connection for new flooring.  The first was our living room about six years ago.  We were happy then and didn't think twice about having them out the second time. We were surprised but glad the same crew did both jobs.  Having retired after many years in the home building industry I've seen my share of good and bad flooring companies.  These guys know how to do it right, the first time.  What impressed me was even though both of these jobs were small,  the owner came to our home and personally measured the job.  There were no hidden charges and the cost was very competitive.  The installers did everything from moving furniture before and after to cleaning up spotlessly when the job was done.  They were courteous and seemed to take great pride in their work. We have recommended them to friends and family and have never heard a single complaint.  Both times when the work was finished the owner came to inspect the work himself.  Rarely have I seen anyone show more interest in his customers.  Try Carpet Connection...you will be glad you did.

My entire 2000 sq. ft. house was floored including bathrooms and closets. Flooring crew was courteous and helpful when question were asked. The job was done in a quick and efficient manner with all left over construction materials hauled off and the flooring swept of dust before the crew left for the final time. The wood flooring was incredible, I really liked the personal touch provided by the owner and his staff, I did not feel like just another number on the list. I have used this company for over twenty years with great success. I have recommended them to many of my friends in the past with great results.

Wes and his staff were very helpful from beginning to end. He was very helpful in suggesting the proper floor for my situation. He came out and gave me a bid for the work and the price was inline with other companies in the business.
The material was ordered and the job scheduled. On the day of the job I was contacted and informed of the process to come.
Thomas and Anthony arrived and proceeded in a professional manner. They kept me informed through out the job.
The hardwood that Wes suggested truly changed the whole look of my home. I was very happy with the whole experience and proud to show my neighbors and family. Thomas and Anthony did an exceptional job and cleaned up everything before the left.

Where do I start? This company was referred by my painting company, Stephan's painting (see review). We thought we were getting a good deal; well we did when it came to cost. However, after that, it was downhill. The man I dealt with, John, had an attitude with both myself and my mother. They left my house dirty with dust all over and covered everything in my garage with dust. Ok, I deal with cleaning, not a big issue. However, I had to call them back when I came home to inspect their work. Several pieces were not even glued down at all. After they came to repair it, they left glue on the floor. At this point, I was done dealing with them so I found a way to clean up the glue. This was in mid-August. It is now February and several pieces have started to pop up in my living room and kitchen. I called to have them come repair these places. When I called, the woman answering the phone was very nice but then she directed me back to John who again, was rude and seemed like he didn't have time for me. He was supposed to come on a Tuesday afternoon but I had to cancel. He was supposed to call me back with a new date. That was two weeks ago and I haven't heard anything back. We are in the course of looking at what type of action can be taken here. My suggestion would be to spend the extra money and find someone way more professional.

UPDATE: We have discovered a water leak under the house which is probably the reason the laminate started coming up. So that issue is not due to the product or the workmanship provided by The Carpet Connection.

I had existing carpet that needed to be reinstalled in 2 different closets. It was a very small job (twice) that I had trouble finding someone to perform. However, Carpet Connection responded quickly and did a great job on the work. I also feel like they were very fair with the pricing considering how small the job was.

I had a master bedroom and bath, another bedroom, hallway and stairs carpeted and floored. The cost was less than $2500 which was the middle price of the three quotes I got.
I did decide to change the carpet style before the contract was signed and while price was still being discussed. When I was in their showroom I got the same reply to both of the types of carpet I was interested in, two different times. and quot;That's the best carpet, I have it in my whole house.and quot; He said the same thing about two completely different carpets.

They were prompt, did an average job. There was a seam in the hallway carpet, and if I didn't see them do it, I would not have believed there was a seam there. On the other hand, without knowing where any other seams were, it was painfully obvious when I went to vacuum that there was a horizontal seam in the master bath. It stuck out like a sore finger. I called and it was then I found they subcontract the laying of the carpet. The subcontractors came back out, trimmed some of the fibers that were sticking up and told me I would just have to vacuum horizontally. And that's the way it still is.
The other problem I had was with communication, or I should say lack thereof. The first time after I signed the contract (and paid half) I was told by the owner that he would call me on Thursday or Friday to let me know if they would be out Monday or Tuesday. I never heard from him so I called Saturday and the owner told me they would be out Monday. I can't say the communication was downright bad, but I expect someone to phone be back when they say they are going to. This was not done.
Then, after I told the owner that I could not have the wood laid the same week, he had scheduled them for Thursday of the same week. I told him that was not possible. Same thing happened - he said he would call me on Friday to let me know if they would be there Monday or Tuesday, and he never called. They showed up Monday morning.
Also, he never called to see if they did a good job, or if I was satisfied. Even after the and quot;fixingand quot; of the bathroom seam was done - no follow up call at all.
Lastly, in the little toilet room in the master bath they laid vinyl that was in the shape of strips of wood, and looks like wood. They Dapped the edge, but not well. There is an inch where it simply doesn't exist and looks like it was an air pocket. Also, there is a small gap between a couple of the pieces. Then, too, there is glue on top of the vinyl in places.
All in all, even though they had a decent price for the work to be done, the end result is less than satisfactory in my opinion. Communication is nil. If Carpet Connection wants the business then they should be in contact in all phases of the contract. I do not wish to have further contact with the firm.
I would rate my experience with this firm very average, if not a little under average.

PRICING WAS EXCELLENT FOR WORK DONE. TWO TECHNICIANS ARRIVED EARLY FOR THE ALL DAY JOB. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK IN RECORD TIME, CLEANED UP ALL SCRAPS AND DISCARDED LEFT OVER CARPET. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE JOB PERFORMED AND WOULD RECOMMEND FOR FUTURE CARPET NEEDS.
