They are extremely good and the only reason why we went to another company was, when we moved out here was, the other guy was our neighbor and he stopped by. They were helpful and very professional. It was working absolutely perfect. He was polite, informative, and told us things to do to stop the problem from occurring again. He did what he was supposed to do. I would say that he was very affordable.

Very good. The repair technician, Ken, was a personable guy and kept me well informed as he diagnosed and completed the job.

I called on a Saturday morning for weekend service because our A/C had gone out overnight. I called the answering service again after I had not received a return call after an hour and Justin called me very quickly after the second call. He explained that he had several calls ahead of me but that he would be here. He called about four hours later to check that we were still available and gave a realistic estimate of his travel time, thus setting realistic expectations on our part.
Once he arrived and I gave him a description of the problem he went right to work. He not only replaced the malfunctioning part but checked out the rest of the condenser unit to make sure that everything would work as expected.

Our heater went out on one of the chilliest Saturdays of the month. We called the number, reaching the answering service, and received a call back from the technician within the hour. The Beckham Jones tech arrived on time, as promised. Not only did he replace the old thermostat with a new digital one, he stayed to make sure my husband and I knew how to program it ! Always pleased with this company when it comes to HVAC needs. I highly recommend them.

We have been using them for 19 years. They are very professional and are really good people. When ever I call them, they get there as soon as they can. They have always shown up when they said they would. They are very responsive.

it was great !!! the ac co that put it in had it so poorly put in that the units were working overtime to try and cool and heat my house. my electric bill was cut almost in half. after i got my electric bill i called and told them what a difference it had made.

I went two summers in deep East Texas without air conditioning while I scrimped and saved to replace my defunct a/c. Once I had finally saved the money, I had three companies give me estimates for replacing the air conditioning and heating in my 1500 sq. ft house. Beckham and Jones's estimate was the middle one--I never go for the rock bottom estimate and can rarely afford the most expensive. I had not planned on replacing the duct work, though I knew it needed it but B and J were willing to negotiate when I told them what the cheaper estimator was going to charge me for it. The fellow who came to do the estimate was informative, not pushy, and told me he wanted the business. He wrote a detailed estimate and explained everything (the cheaper company was vague and didn't outline anything). The large crew (6 men??) was here on time and ready to finish in one day, which they did! They removed all of the old stuff--duct work and all. I was also able to use a credit card, so for a pretty large expense I was able to earn mileage on it. Overall, the experience was excellent and I would use them again in a heartbeat. It worked like a charm, and I waited to write this review until I'd used it through the summer. The more expensive company ($10,000 estimate) argued that their equipment was much quieter. This summer was the hottest on record for this area and guess what? My Beckham and Jones a/c worked wondrously and I never even noticed the sound of the equipment. The ONLY reason they got a and quot;Band quot; for cost is because they weren't the cheapest and I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. So if you want excellent service with darn good equipment that won't cost you an arm and a leg, then Beckham and Jones is the company to choose. This company is the perfect blend of efficiency, economy and service.

An afterthought: years ago I was new to this hot and humid area. I was convinced that the outdoor component to the a/c should be covered with plastic. I consulted folks at Beckham and Jones. They talked me out of it. They told me that they would order it if I insisted, but in this climate, it wouldn't help to cover anything up. It would keep the moisture inside and cause it to rust more quickly. I appreciated that they didn't sell me something I didn't need and I always remembered that. Now, I still got the three bids for the a/c replacement, but once again they won me over.
