Granger Construction

Mr. Granger returned phone call the same day when contacted and made arrangements to meet us. He looked at the house, took measurements, explained what needed to be done and how it would be done. He provided an estimate for materials and labor as well as time for completion. He contacted us again within a week to make arrangements to complete the work. He and his sons put in the beam under the house with shaker seals, pads, and blocks in one day. On the 2nd day, he and one son returned and put down sanded plywood and self-stick tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. They also installed the new toilet after the tiles were laid. The installation of the tile was requested by us on the 1st day as a last-minute item. We did not buy enough tile to complete the kitchen. He insisted and did take a left-over piece of the tile to see if he could find a close match from another one of the companies with which he deals before we try to find another tile to try and use as a border. The changing of the direction of the bathroom door was suggested to us as a way to help my husband with his mobility problems. Mr. Granger said he would make and stain a custom threshold to ease access into the kitchen. He will return after more tile is found to complete the kitchen floor and to install the custom height threshold. These gentlemen were always courteous and honest. They took time to explain what they were going to do and why and how it would improve our house. They arrived ready to work and put in more than a full day's work on both days and cleaned up their materials throughout the day. They also helped to clean up the areas from which furniture and appliances had been moved and replaced these items. They also took off the old toilet so we did not have to deal with the disposal. They were willing to complete the work we requested at the last minute and we were happy to pay the additional charges. We will gladly contact Mr. Granger again when we need any work to be done. It is refreshing to be dealt with in a professional, courteous, and honest manner.
