Dumpster Service
I began a large remodel project at my home on March 11th. My contractor has arranged for TRC to deliver a 30 yard container/dumpster on that day. The delivery was made by the owner oof TRC. Even though we had workers directing him, the driver drove up over the curb across the street from my home and mashed/destroyed the grass between the street and sidewalk. The driver was adamant that the City of Houston would repair his damage "just call the city". He insisted I pay him right then - even though my contractor wasn't present. I wrote him a check then for $460 representing $75 for a one time/non refundable delivery fee and $385 for the container. We called the City right away and they said "no" they don't repair that damage. So my contractor repaired the mucked up/mashed soil and bought grass strips so it all looked like new to my across the street neighbor. I decided not to keep the 30 yard container that night - I had TRC come back the very next day, March 12th, for it. Nothing was placed in the container. The driver/owner of course would not refund me any portion of the $460. I made the switch to 10 foot dumpster using EZ Waste Inc. -they have courteous drivers who have been very careful with my driveway and my neighbors' properties, etc. Obviously, I knew there was a risk I would lose all $460, but I feel that TRC really didn't care how things worked out here - and the price they pay is I am writing an honest review of my thoughts regarding their services.

"First of all, Mrs. [Member Name Removed] isn't telling the truth. They had no one out directing the driver nor helping to control the flow of traffic. We stated to the contractor that we would repair all damages caused if the city wouldn't do so. We also stated that the fees and charges were non refundable. The contractor was also told that payment was do before container was delivered or onsite before the driver had left the premises. The damages were cause due to the space and size of the container that was ordered by the contractor. The contractor ordered a 22 ft long container for a 25 ft space. The driver delivered the container into the space without any help from the so called helpers Mrs. [Member Name Removed] had onsite.The next day the driver came out to pick up the container which Mrs. [Member Name Removed] stated that she would get her money back from the Contractor. The driver gave EZ waste as a referral because Mrs. [Member Name Removed] had asked if TRC Waste offered any smaller containers. Although the driver stated wrong information to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] he and the contractor agreed that the contractor would repair the damages because his guys weren't out to help and because of the limited space that they had to work with. Since this altercation TRC Waste Services has worked with the same Contractor that Mrs. [Member Name Removed] has used on several other occasions. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] had no known complaints with TRC Waste at the time services were rendered and saw it on our own behalf to set up an account with Angie's List so that way she could share untrue and false statements."
