TRC Waste Services Llc

I began a large remodel project at my home on March 11th. My contractor has arranged for TRC to deliver a 30 yard container/dumpster on that day. The delivery was made by the owner oof TRC. Even though we had workers directing him, the driver drove up over the curb across the street from my home and mashed/destroyed the grass between the street and sidewalk. The driver was adamant that the City of Houston would repair his damage "just call the city". He insisted I pay him right then - even though my contractor wasn't present. I wrote him a check then for $460 representing $75 for a one time/non refundable delivery fee and $385 for the container. We called the City right away and they said "no" they don't repair that damage. So my contractor repaired the mucked up/mashed soil and bought grass strips so it all looked like new to my across the street neighbor. I decided not to keep the 30 yard container that night - I had TRC come back the very next day, March 12th, for it. Nothing was placed in the container. The driver/owner of course would not refund me any portion of the $460. I made the switch to 10 foot dumpster using EZ Waste Inc. -they have courteous drivers who have been very careful with my driveway and my neighbors' properties, etc. Obviously, I knew there was a risk I would lose all $460, but I feel that TRC really didn't care how things worked out here - and the price they pay is I am writing an honest review of my thoughts regarding their services.
