Screw it All

Glen the owner is a super nice guy but very unreliable. Always wants money up front and continually asking for extra money for supplies or an "advance" to pay his guys. Had numerous excuses as to why he would not answer his phone or texts. We just want to warn people that if you use him do NOT give him money in advance. A good repeatable company should not always need money but he tells us he lives pay check to pay check because he has 5 kids. He then takes your money and takes weeks to finish the job. Just BEWARE.

The owner of the company contracts the concrete work out so that part went awesome. I paid half down as a deposit for the overall job in advance and was told they would start the job the next day but nothing got done until several days due to me contacting them over and over again until I got a response. Then was told they needed more cash to get the concrete work done. I was also told that due to all the set backs and unresponsiveness that I would get $100 off which they made me pay for anyways. I had to go back and touch up after them constantly. Redoing the gutters and fixing overall little details. I would have gladly paid more for someone professional. Constantly told they would show up to finish and never really completed and the sad part is would have taken about 30 minutes to do.

Glenn was recommended to me my by a neighbor who used him for a complete master bathroom remodel. I saw the quality of the work and was impressed. I began using Glenn to take care of some handy-man tasks, but I plan to use him in the near future to remodel my guest bathroom and kitchen. Glenn's quality of work over the last 3 months at my house has been excellent and his prices reasonable. The only glitch in all that work performed was a small water leak when the reverse osmosis system was installed. The leak did not show up for a week, and was due to a faulty O-ring in one of the numerous connections. When I told Glenn about the leak, he came out the same day and repaired it. I always like to include at least one thing where the contractor could improve. For Glenn, this would be to keep his customers informed more timely when he is running late for the appointment or if he is unable to show up on the appointed day. Customers really appreciate a simple (and timely) phone call whenever schedules change. Thanks to Glenn and J.D., I am really enjoying the new soft water system, the filtered drinking water system, the new door going into the garage from the kitchen, the new ceiling fans, and the very clean driveway and sidewalks.
