Eric responded promptly to the request . He was very professional and knowledgeable of the job requested. His helpers were less qualified to do the job without his presence. When the lead person (Eric) was not present it was an almost wasted day. After the job was completed, he was agreeable to come back for touch up and minor omitted things.

Pricing I think is average along with everybody else. Responsiveness, oh my god definitely F, give them a G. Punctuality, no same thing, F.

contacted this business on 7-18-2017 for a toilet repair. The receptionist/secretary that answered the telephone said she would send someone to my home that evening. The handyman that showed up named was ERIC, he arrived around 5:00 pm. I showed him where the toilet was and I toid him I thought it was a seal that needed to be replaced. He removed the seal and said the seal just came off the canister, I requested he replace the seal, but he said no it's fixed. I again asked him to replace the seal, Eric stated no its fixed and you have a warranty if it happened again. The next week the toilet started running again, I called the business with no answer. I continued to call them for a full week at several different times, NO ANSWER! I left several messages with them with no RESPONSE. My toilet steadily running with a high water bill. Finally after numerous phone calls, the receptionist/secretary called me back and stated she would send someone to my house by the following weekend. On Saturday I waited for someone to appear and no one came. I started calling them again and no answer! To this date no one has returned my calls or came to my home to honor their warranty. The receptionist was the most unprofessional individual and she was clueless. This business took my money and did not perform any services and would not honor their warranty DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!

Horrible. One leak on each job when finished. He came back to fix at no charge, but when finished we still two leaks. I then had a friend fix problems. Man was very pleasant, but I wanted an experienced handyman, not a social relashionship. I am by no means good at that type of things but I have done both of those jobs in the past twice, slow but no leaks. Unfortunately I had a couple of operations and could not get under the sinks this time.

I phoned Hand2Hand Handyman for an estimate on several items to be repaired in my daughter's home. We were on a very tight budget and trying to make most of the repairs ourselves but ran out of time so we decided to get some help. The initial visit and quote was prompt, however, we decided to opt out of most of the services except for a few totaling about $650. We received a call from the receptionist confirming the date and name of the handyman to be sent over. We thought this meant everything was confirmed. I emailed the company TWICE two days BEFORE our confirmed date to get a time the scheduled work would begin. There was no response. I then texted the owner, Erik to confirm the work and I received this response the evening before the scheduled service: "I'm sorry you didn't receive the message but we responded back the job has just become too small for us to travel that great distance I'm sorry."
1. An email, voice mail or text message was never sent AFTER I spoke with the receptionist/administrative assistant confirming the date and the name of the worker that was being sent to do the job
2. Humble, TX where the company is located is exactly 14.3 minutes/11.5 miles away from my home. AND if it were too great of a distance, he should have indicated that when he initially came out for the consultation.
3. It is EXTREMELY unprofessional to opt out of a job simply because it has become 'too small' AFTER you have agreed to do the job.
My assessment is that he received a larger project that was more profitable for him and booted us out to take on the other 'more lucrative' project.  I had to scramble to find another handyman to take on the project in such short notice which I subsequently gave a lot more work to. Coincidentally, I just moved to Texas and where I come from, your word is golden. This
was NOT a very welcoming experience in my first dealings with a business here but I am assuming that most people and businesses in Texas follow the same code of ethics I am accustomed to or, at least, I hope so. I will NEVER EVER do business with them again nor will I EVER recommend them to anyone. Unless you have a huge project, don't count on them to keep their word!
