PARENT CONSTRUCTION & RMDLNG

Description of Work: We had a covered outdoor batio that was approximately 300 sf. We received 2 quotes, Parent Construction being the least expensive. Dennis Parent had my husband convinced that he could do just a good a job as the other guy but for thousands less. We went ahead and agreed to let Parent do the work. We told them we wanted a wall of windows and a back door to make it a sunroom. He purchased the cheapest "insulated windows" he could purchase. Then after the job was almost finished, we found out he did not get a building permit because it was cheaper that way. By then, we just wanted them to finish. It took them about 3 weeks to put up a wall that included 4 windows and a door. We had bought the door and told him what size of door it was. He built the wall too long so then the door we purchased was too large for the opening. I ended up just getting disgusted with them. We had them finish painting the hardie plank on the outside wall and gave them their money just to get rid of them.
