LESLIE'S SWIMMING POOL SUPLS

Just moved into a house with a pool that was rarely used but sufficiently maintained. Leslie's pools came out for a training called "pool school" which was $100. Discovered heater was not working after he left. Another service call to diagnose problem which was incorrect but a part was ordered and a service call for $80 plus extra $22 for "travel charge", hence a $102 charge every time they show up. After discovering the new part was not the problem, another much more expensive problem was diagnosed. Another wait time for parts, another service call, labor charges etc. Employee was nice but difficult to understand. After all this my husband still does not know everything he needs to safely run things. He tried to get some help from the retail store where he was informed that there was no one there to answer his questions. Spent a total of $1380. We've discovered that Leslie's is a chain corporation based in another state. They were difficult to communicate with and the whole experience has been trying. We have already contacted another locally owned pool service to answer all our questions. Would never recommend this company.
