The Inside Story Designer was extremely unprofessional. I repeatedly asked her to include my wife on all design decisions. I ended up having to forward all e-mails and messages to my wife. During a selection session, I personally saw the designer whispering to a vendor about my wife - kind of like she was being a "cool kid" sharing a "little secret". We made it clear that we wanted Hunter Douglass shutters. Instead, the designer ordered inferior Sunland shutters and tried to convince us that they were "just as good". Hunter Douglass has a lifetime warranty. Sunland's warranty is only four years. We are already having some issues with the quality of the tightening mechanisms. Repeated requests to Inside Story management for assistance in obtaining warranty service have gone unanswered. All we wanted was a contact number for the supplier. In addition to the inferior quality, the order was incorrect. Two sets of shutters were omitted. The designer tried to "throw the supplier under the bus" (Voice Message included in review media), claiming it was his screw-up. We personally saw an e-mail from the supplier to the designer in which the two shutter sets were never ordered. Obviously one of two things happened. Either the designer forgot to order the shutters in the first place, or the supplier forgot to order the shutters. In either case, the designer should have caught the mistake. We do not recommend Inside Story Interiors to anyone.
