I have to start off by saying that Tim, the owner is awesome....he did a great job and I was really happy with the outcome. He was a pleasure to work with.  The problem with HHOS is their follow-up customer service. After I paid them the ability to correct any problems kind of went out the window.
I had problems with my outdoor BBQ...was fixed but after long delays.....couldn't use the grill until fixed.
During installation of plants one of my brand new Travertine Tiles was gouged. Tim told me they would replace it, which they did. Only problem is, it took 5 months. I had sent many messages and photos and was told that they thought it had been fixed. Finally when they did show up to fix it, they showed up unannounced.
Took months to fix a drainage problem.
Some Plants that are guaranteed for a year are looking pretty bad after the winter. According to Michelle and Jesse, the plants are alive and only need trimming back. Was told they would get it on the schedule, have yet to hear from them about when after being told they would come the next day.
Over all they do good work but really poor customer support after the initial work was completed.

We have been using HHOS for about 6 weeks now and I continue to be amazed each Friday when I return home from work to see my yard looking immaculate and well maintained. The crew comes each and every Friday and handles all of our needs, mowing, edging, weeding the flower beds and even trimming the bushes. They take great care to clean up after they are done and leave the trimmings neatly bagged at our driveway. The crew even is kind enough to place the bagged trimmings in our trash can if the garbage truck has not already run for the day, which makes it even more convenient! Any time we have a question or concern, Bev responds to our emails quickly and very professionally. From the first contact with HHOS, through the evaluation of the services and charges to the ongoing lawn maintenance that they provide - we will continue to be customers for as long as we are in our home in Kingwood.

When Hollywood Hills Outdoor Solutions come and do the work, they do a ggod job. The communication from the office was horrible, it took me 3 times to call them to give me a quote and then it took me 3 more calls to get them to actually come. They were supposed to come last week but they did not. I need to call them and ask why they didn't come on Saturday, if it was because of rain the they are now 3 days later, are they going to come at some point? The first time that they were supposed to come, they claimed they couldn't find my house. I will use them if they show up in the next couple of days, if not I'll find somebody more reliable.

They do great work and I have them out on a by- the-job basis. We have no issues with them.

I contacted this company on 4/28/13 using their information on Angie's List. I was still in the process of calling and getting estimates from other companies and on 5/4/2013 I received an email reply from Tim Kimberling stating that my email had been pushed to his and quot;junkand quot; folder and if we were still looking for services. I promptly emailed him back and said yes, what would it cost. I got another email from Bev with their prices and availability. Bev stated that the company was in my area on Thursdays and Fridays. I sent a reply back saying we would like to start services the following Thursday for bi-weekly services. That following Thursday and Friday we got lots and lots of rain, but they did come back on Sunday (I Think, because I wasn't home when they actually came by so it's hard to remember) and did the job! They have kept to the schedule so far and have done a great job. I have not received an invoice from them yet, but for conducting business all through email and getting the services done without me calling back to ask about it, this company has delivered outstanding service. I will continue to use them in the future and look into other services that they provide as our budget allows.

Went very well. They were on time and completed the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up all of the debris and left my yard in good condition

Our relationship is ongoing. The continually do major projects for us and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

They did run a little bit late, but they are very detail oriented. In my backyard I have an area lined with limestone to form a flower bed or vegetable garden that I have let go over the past few months and has become overgrown with weeds. I didn't expect them to do anything with it, but the crew of four worked on weeding the half that I didn't get to for about 30 minutes straight, and when I went and checked on it after they left and they knew exactly what plants were weeds, and what plants were vegetables and herbs. I was very impressed with the job they did and will hire them again!

I neglected my lawn for months because I have two young kids and am pregnant with my third and now it looks perfect!

They're pretty reliable and we have been happier with them than others we've used in the past. They have a very good crew and stay on task with the jobs at hand. Sometimes their communication isn't as good as we'd like but for the most part, we're satisfied with the service we receive. They are very competitively priced as well.

Tim was a little difficult to reach. I had to call three times before I finally talked to him and scheduled an estimate. I decided to start with a small task before going into the more substantial work that I have in order to evaluate the company. I did discuss the more extensive work that I was considering and Tim seemed to have good ideas and knowledge. However, I will not use this company for my other work. I had to pursue Tim even after we finally met. The crew did not show up as scheduled, nor did I receive a call. I had to contact them to find that they were held up at another job. It was almost dark but Tim said they could come over 'after they finished' the other work. I declined and rescheduled for the next morning. They did a minimal job and left the bags of debris for the trash men to take away. They did not cut the branches into manageable sizes for the trash, so I had to cut them myself in order for them to be hauled away. I received no follow-up call.

I was very impressed first of all that I called him on a Thursday needing the work to take place ASAP. He was there on Friday to take a look and Saturday morning at 7:30 am he and his crew were there to do the work. They completed the work in about an hour and hauled off all the debris. Granted it was a small job but the price seemed extremely cheap to me. I will definitely be calling them again for landscaping work.
