Looks beautiful! They were in and out in one day! Cleaned up everything surrounding the house… When they left you couldn't tell. Great cleanup. The neighbors were envious!

Hi-Tech was not the lowest bidder.  But they made me feel most comfortable that they knew their business and would do the best job.  They showed up exactly at the time they said they would.  They removed the old roof, and removed a couple of non-working roof vents and replaced the plywood decking where the old vents were.  They used 30 pound felt paper and installed every shingle.  They nailed every shingle (no staples) at least 7 nails per shingle (yes, they were that exact in their bid and the installation). 
They installed a new ridge cap ventilation system as part of the roofing job.
They rebuilt the chimney cap by filling in any loose mortar, and then made a custom metal cap to fit on top of the chimney.
There was some small areas of wood rot on the trim boards where the eves meet the roof - - they replaced those and then painted with primer.
Top job all the way around.

I solicited bids for the re-roof from three local contractors. Michael Bark came out promptly and provided a detailed written bid for the work. On an "apples to apples" basis, Hi-Tech's bid was the lowest of the three (but very close). The work was scheduled and the crew arrived to start on the appointed day. The crew worked hard from morning until dark for three full days and completed the job on the morning of the 4th day. The quality of the work was excellent, the cleanup was complete and the final price matched the original bid. I could not have been more pleased.
