 + -1 moreThey allegedly used "old or used" parts, natural gas leaked into the home for more than 4 days. They ignored our requests to fix the problem for a long time. When we finally heard from them regarding a solution, we decided to hire a Lic Plumber to fix the problem ourselves. My wife saw a Doctor about symptoms she was having that were allegedly related.

 + -1 moreI have to say from start to finish it was a pleasant experience with our pool project. Rick helped design our pool based on our wants and needs. Lisa the owner did a great job communicating throughout the process, and was able to accommodate some last minute changes that we had. The subcontractors all behaved professionally and did a great job, especially the decking and the company involved with the tile and coping. Jeremy did some "pool school" instruction and was very helpful in getting me comfortable with doing backwashes and monitoring the PH and chlorine. I live 4 miles from their office so I can take in water samples and they will test the water for free once/month and let you know how your pool water chemistry is. Overall couldn't be more pleased with how it ended up looking. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to my friends and have already.

 + -1 moreThis review has an old service date because I only recently joined Angies List. Keep in mind, my experience might not be yours pro or con. We had installed by Fox Family Pools in the Summer of 2011 in Kingwood. Our experience overall was a good one. My critique is that the salesperson who sold us the job understated how badly the grass in the front yard would be torn up. And the quoted price to repair any greenery in the yard was high, $1000+. I ended up purchasing grass plugs to fill in the bare spots left by the pirouetting bobcats. The key here is that good communications regarding this issue was lacking, but ultimately I was willing to deal with it and it was much less then the price quoted for this kind of a repair. This is my reason for assigning a C for Professionalism. However, based on our overall experience we can recommend Fox Family Pools for pool installation.
