FAUST PAINTING

1. We called the lumbar company to ask their opinion regarding so issues we saw a few weeks after the job was completed; According to lumber company; He did not allow the wood to dry before painting it. (we now have pine sap oozing from beneath the paint job and caulk is showing between some planks for the same reason) 2. According to his own subcontractor; he didn't allow them to use adequate number of nails. per foot. 3. He failed to repair things that his crew had broken on the job. ( broken outside light; cut power to master bedroom) 4. He insisted on getting paid before the job was complete in order to "pay his crew" which we did; even though our agreement was not to pay more the 60% until the job was complete. His crew came by our house several weeks later and asked us to 'pay him' so that they could be paid. We explained that we DID pay and they said that he's done that to them on other jobs. That's when they went on to say that he refused to provide them with enough nails to do the job correctly. 5. He was also supposed to repair 2 windows that were leaking during heavy rains; Approix 2 months after they were gone we had our first heavy rain and the windows leaked worse than ever; we called him..and he said that was not his problem. 6. We are now seeking bids to fix the things he didn't do correctly. 7. He used a cheaper substitute for Tyvek 8. He kept 'adding' to costs saying that these things were not included in the estimate.
