It is a pleasure to do business with companies like Cruz, where one can have confidence in the honesty of its staff. Their prices are very reasonable also. I actually didn't have anything wrong with my unit except "operator error"...........I had accidentally put the fan in "continuous" mode instead of "auto". Since I hadn't had my unit checked for a while, it certainly would have been easy enough to tell me I needed Freon (given Houston's weather) and charged me a higher fee; but Roy's integrity is just one more example why I'll ONLY use and recommend this company for any of my AC and heating needs. A+++
"Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback. Regards, Cruz Air & Electric"
Update 6/2015: The girls who answer the phones for Cruz electric, including someone named Phoebe are (still) being very rude and won't return my calls or pass on my issues or requests to the owner, Mr. Cruz, who seems very nice. (I wonder if you know how bad these girls are for your business Mr. Cruz)? I had to call a new generator company and pay them for service. I don't think I'll use Cruz anymore sadly.
10/2014: I am very disappointed with their level of customer service, and feel that whoever answers the phones needs to communicate with management better. They appear to be keeping the owners and managers from hearing any complaints about them by either not calling people back, and/or not informing the management of any issues or complaints when customers call. If the management would like a better review, perhaps they should give me a call and talk this out. At this point, I feel that they should offer me some sort of discount on a contract for the issues I had in reaching them and dropping my contract without any notice.
Chris M. was the tech who arrived for the appointment -- professionally dressed, clean commercial vehicle. FYI - CGC Generators is the company which provides these services as a division of Cruz Electric. Chris spent all the time necessary walking me through the operation of the generator, identifying what is connected to it, oil/battery checks, recommended maintenance, warning signs, etc., etc., etc. The generator was installed in 2009 and we purchased the home in 2012. After substantial renovations and additions, we're in the house, but needed to know how to work an automatic transfer generator. After Chris' visit, I feel completely comfortable with the generator and know what we need to do/look for on the unit.
This was an excellent experience and I signed up for a two-year maintenance contract (discounts offered for more than one year). Additionally, Chris is a veteran and we support any company/organization who hires our nations' heroes. Thank you!!!
