I will not to take my laptop to a place where I do not know who is working on it, like the major chain computer repair stores. All of my personnel info is on it. Computer Avenue is a husband & wife team and they do the repairs. They are awesome! I cannot say enough positive things about them. Debra is helpful and kind. 5 Stars!!

I called Computer Avenue and they said they would take a look at the laptop. I was amazed and relieved when they called me the very next day to say my computer was fixed! The repair was less than a hundred dollars!

Went great! I dropped my laptop off around 3 pm, and they had my affidavit and estimate ready to go by 4:30 pm that day! They said the hard drive was fried and recommended replacing the whole thing as once the hard drive was replaced (quoted for $250) they could find out other components were also not working. Appreciated their honesty and timeliness!

I don't know what the answer is in the computer repair department.  $60.00 to diagnose a computer over and over and over again, shoot, you could have bought a new one.  And probably should have, really.

"Our diagnostic is 1/2 hour labor which is $24.50 not $60. We only do work that a customer approves. We feel sorry for customers that have computers with multiple issues. Again we are sympathetic to any customer that has had multiple issues with their computer and we wish them well, but unfortunately computers break (hardware) and people get viruses all the time(software). We have never taken two weeks to diagnose and fix a problem. Sometimes we have customers that don't pick their computers up for two weeks or they take a bit to approve a job after the diagnosis. I have customers that leave their machines for months even after being called multiple times. We are locally owned and operated, we have been here since 1997, we are always fair too everybody that comes in our doors the people in these local neighborhoods are our neighbors and friends, we live in this community, our kids go to local public schools here. Most semi-negative reports such as this are filled with half truths and of course never reflect the full truth. I think there needs to be a fair system for consumers and business owners This customer's last reported work order was in 2008! (???) She filed this report in November 2011."

After calling four different computer companies to fix his computer this company was the only one who would take care of the problem the same day, due to the fact my husband was going offshore for one month and needed to have his computer with him. They were very professional and fixed his problem. As he had purchased a Panda anti-virus software which took care of three computers I left my laptop with them next day. They serviced my laptop, put on the Panda software and took off unwanted programs. I found them to be very courteous. The only thing I didn't like was the price. I thought it was quite expensive, but then I have no idea how much this sort of thing is supposed to cost?
