CertaPro Painters® of Humble\Kingwood, TX

Painting was good. Painter left extensive scratches on metal bed left in room while work was being done. Also, left paint on outdoor handles.

When I contacted CertaPro through Angie's List, the cost estimator, Nick, came out promptly and wrote up a very professional estimate for the work. A few days later, when I went into their office to sign the contract, I wasn't expecting the job to begin for another week or so. However, they informed me that an opening just occurred for the next day if I wanted to begin the job. I was very happy to hear that news and I accepted! The supervisor arrived on time and we discussed the job. He then left to get the paint while another person began pressure washing the area to be painted. Then the two painters arrived and began the job when the area was all dried out. They did an outstanding job! I am very pleased with the result. Originally, I thought the cost estimate was a little high, but after they finished I'm glad that I spent a few extra bucks for such an outstanding job!

They were really professional. In terms of the experience that I had with them they were wonderful. I haven't seen the paint job yet but my tenant said it was very good. I think we were really happy with CentaPro and they only one of two companies that have full insurance.

They showed up and the quality of the work is lousy. I constantly had to have them go back and correct areas. They destroyed baseboard and tried to cover it up. They used my tools, caulk and paint to do the job. They went through my cupboards for plastic cups, dumped my cleaning supplies out of containers under my sink and took a week to do a 4 day job. They didn't match the paint properly and didn't paint the newly textured areas properly, so I am still having to paint today to get the repaired areas to match the rest of the rooms. I can honestly say that it would have been better if I had done it myself and taken the days off work with no pay. The only work that was done properly and professionally was the work that they subcontracted out for the baseboards and crown molding replacement. I'm going to have those guys come back and do the work to replace all the baseboard in my house.

We really liked the couple that came and sold us the job. The sub contractor that they used was not all that great. They did a good job but we had to stay on their back to get it done. We would probably use Certa Pro again but we will ask for another sub contractor.
