AQUA BLUE POOLS SERVICE & REPAIR

We were very dissatisfied with this service call.  We contacted the owner and he was totally unprofessional.  He avoided our calls.  On the few occasions we were able to speak to him he yelled at us.  He did not follow up with phone calls answering our concerns as he promised. 
I did not check with Angie's List before I hired this company because he was a personal referral.  However, I have since looked up his record and he has treated two customers the same way that he treated us.  You can see this information if you look up reviews from over 3 years ago. 
The owner said that he didn't care if I left a bad review on Angie's list or reported him to the BBB.  He said he didn't need our business because he had plenty of business in Austin.  (See reviews from over 3 years ago - same story). 
All we wanted was a discount for a return trip because we felt that the repairman should have come more prepared in the first place.  He refused to work with us at all. 
This is the first bad review I have ever left any business.  I am 54 years old and very reasonable.  I am always able to come to a compromise with people that I do business with when problems arise. 
This business owner is rude and unprofessional and says things that he should not say.  Stay away because if you have a problem, you will not be treated fairly.

The overall experience is excellent. The price and quality of work are excellent. They are prompt, responsive, and professional. I will continue to use this provider.

So far he has not responded to my requests for him fix the problems and stand by his guarantee.  I understand he is doing larger scale work in Austin Texas and this is his rationale for being busy all the time.  I contacted Aqua Blue Pools Service & Repair in Austin and they say I have the wrong pool company.

Note that I only spent $60 because this was work performed under a homeowner's warranty. After my initial request for service, they contacted me within 48 hours. The day of service, they were not only on time but early (but they called to confirm that arriving early was OK). They explained their findings & recommendations in detail & obtained my approval before proceeding. They completed the job within 24 hours.

THEY CLEANED MY POOL AFTER ANOTHER SERVICE QUIT DOING IT AND BEGAN DOING ONLY COMMERCIAL POOLS AND IT SAT FOR A FEW WEEKS. THEY INSTALLED A NEW PUMP AND THEN THEY INSTALLED A POLARIS. ALL THESE JOBS WERE OK, BUT THEN WHEN WEEKLY MAINTENANCE BEGAN, THE YOUNG MEN THEY CONTRACTED IT TO WERE OFTEN LATE OR DID NOT SHOW UP AND WHEN THEY DID, THEY LEFT NOTES SAYING MY PUMP AND POLARIS WERE NOT WORKING. WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE AND TOLD THEM I EXPECTED THEM TO CORRECT THIS, AT AN EXTRA COST, IF NECESSARY, I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Aqua Blue returned my call right away and followed up with an estimate to maintain my pool. Their prices were quite reasonable and they explained that if anything was broken they would take care of it, The pool maintenance was scheduled once a week and the pool guy was on time. He is very reliable and does excellent work.
