Tech came one day and diagnosed the problem, said he would need to get parts and be back next day. Tech came the next day and fixed the washer. Very efficient and professional. I would definitely use them again.

The defrost function wasn't working on my fridge and it still doesn't work. There office person will not return my call.

My dishwasher stopped working so I gave them a call that afternoon. They were able to schedule someone to come out and have a look at it the next morning. The service fee was $25 for the visit, but is waived if they perform the repair. They arrived in the first 15 minutes of the 2 hour time frame I was given. The problem was quickly diagnosed (like in two minutes quick). The technician was very knowledgeable and answered my questions and assured my doubts, explaining how the washer cycle works and why it stopped when it did in the cycle. I was undecided on having the repair done or replacing the whole thing, so they went ahead and ordered the part and just asked me to call if I decided to replace instead. We decided to replace, so I called in to let them know and paid the service fee by phone. Everyone was polite and professional, and I will definitely call them again in the future.

The defroster went out in my freezer and it made the whole refrigerator stop working and they came out and replaced it. They did a great job and they showed up on time. They had a $50 service charge but you get that back if they do the service.

I didn't have my washer for the holidays.  I waited over a week and didn't hear from them, I had to call them to check on the part.  Kathy at the office was very nice, she was supposed to have someone call me back.  I didn't hear from them for days, I had to call them back again, I still didn't hear from anyone.  I found a piece of metal that may have come from the machine, I sent a picture of the part to the company, and still never heard anything back from the technician.  This went on for months.  I wrote a letter to the company on 12/29/13 asking for a refund of my money.  I called a different company that day, they came out the same day, put the part in and it worked perfectly.  This repairman told me the clutch was not the issue, and because I ran the machine before the first issue was resolved, a second issue occurred.  In addition, I had to spend $180 with the other company to actually get the machine fixed.  The original technician, David, did talk to me on the phone at one point, he offered to come back out to try to repair the machine. When I let him know it was already replaced he wanted to know who fixed it and what part they used. This morning I called and asked for the owner, Wayne said he could help me, he said he could offer me $50.  I don't think $50 is fair.

Serviceman showed up on time, gave me options for the repair and followed up as needed

He fixed the dishwasher very quickly.  He was punctual and knowledgeable. Their prices are reasonable We would use their service again in the future.

From the first visit to assess the problem and pick up the control panel to the final service visit, the company was honest, efficient, polite, punctual and proficient.  This is my second time to use Appliance Repair of Houston and I will always call on them for any large appliance repair.  My ovens are back in use!

ARH service technician, found problem to be lack of 220V power. Another contractor had changed breaker incorrectly. ARH serviceman was punctual, professional, and helpful. Service call charge of $25 was happily paid. Will use ARH again.

I was VERY pleased with both the speed and effectiveness of the service. I had been told by another highly recommended repair company that they simply would not even attempt working on an LG (or Samsung) appliance because the parts are difficult to get and they are hard to work on. So it was a pleasent surprise that the part was available immediately and ARH was able to schedule the repair pretty much immediately. The serviceman was cordial, prompt, showed me the damaged part, and did his job.

15 mThe refrigerator needed a new switch located on the inside back of the appliance.  Overall experience was great.

 Called APPLIANCE REPAIR of HUMBLE and was thankful they could come out at such a low fee.  The gentleman was able to come the following afternoon & knew exactly what part to order.  (Had been told by someone that Samsung refrigerator parts are hard to find, so not many people work on them anymore.)  The refrigerator was repaired the following Thursday or Friday.  Have had no more problems with it.  (We love our Samsung....repair needed was due to a family member not closing the freezer door properly.)

Our washer broke on a Thursday night.  I called several places on Friday
morning, and had one company tell me they don't even work on my brand
of washer (!), but this company was the only one able to look at it the
same day.  The repairman came out and quickly identified a broken sump
pump and told me it would be Monday or Tuesday before he could get the
part in.  He called Tuesday morning with the part, was able to come
right over and it was fixed in less than an hour.  I was pleased with
how quickly my overall service was performed, and how professional they
were.  I don't know whether the price is great or not, but we didn't
think it was exorbitant for the work he did.  I would definitely
recommend this company to anyone needing appliance repairs.

Entered work ticket on American Home Shield warranty service web site on Saturday. Website indicated we would be contacted on first business day. Monday they called and arranged an appointment on Tuesday afternoon. The appointment window was a bit large (1-5) but acceptable for us. They arrived around 330 pm and troubleshot both problems. They arranged an appointment on Tuesday to come and replace the parts. Wednesday the Range was repaired but the part for the refrigerator was defective so they came back again on Thursday to fix that one.

They were punctual and the repair was not super expensive - I think they had a fair price. They verified what I said needed to be done, and they ordered the part. They came back the next day exactly when they said they were going to. They fixed the dryer and got it going again!

I do not know the name of the person who initially came to the house to look at my refrigerator, but he appeared to be more interested in telling me what was wrong so he could leave than he was in anything else. He was very abrupt and the attitude he gave off was like he really didn't care whether their company did the work or not. That being said, someone else did come back the next day and repair the refrigerator.

It took a while before I was frustrated enough to call Gulf Coast. When I did they came right over to fix the dryer. It took a couple of days because they had to have the part shipped in. Soon as it arrived they came over and repaired it. The technician was clean, outgoing, and tried to explain everything to me. The dryer has not failed since.

Our dishwasher was not working at all, so we contacted First American, our home equity insurance company. They gave us the name of Gulf Coast who promptly came over to repair it. I don't know exactly what they did, but it has worked perfectly ever since. He fixed it in a little over an hour. We pay First American an annual fee, plus a service call fee. The repair job didn't cost much more than our service call fee.
