Same day service. Ice maker fixed.

They did a great job. Explained everything very well. They were so polite and came prepared and fixed everything quickly and completely. I will use them again.

Blaine was punctual, courteous, and went above and beyond to explain changing the filter. He changed out the ice maker in about 15 min.

The previous review is mistaken.  They are very much in business.  Blain contacted us before our appointed time to inqiure about our problem and requested that we take a picture of the plate with the serial and model number of our dryer.  He arrived at the appointed time, spent time with the dryer to fully determine the problem was what he suspected from our conversation.  He had the correct part on his truck and repaired the dryer quickly.  Do not let his youthful appearance fool you.  He is very knowledgeable and has been doing this for several years.  A polite and respectful young man...I will certainly use him again.

When I called, an elderly man answered the phone.  I have a soft spot for the elderly and was very patient while he took my info.  He said Blaine would give me a call.  I spoke with Blaine in a timely manner and we set up a time.  He ran a little late, but gave me a call to let me know.  
Blaine knew immediately what  was wrong with the washer (plugged drain) and repaired it.  He also showed me how to maintain it so it doesn't plug up again.
I got the coupon discount.  Price was fair.  
I asked about the elderly man answering the phone.  Blaine explained to me the old man was a neighbor and taught him everything he knew about appliance repair.  The old man had the business for years while Blaine grew up and took him on as an apprentice when he was a young teen.

I was trying to find a used appliance place that would be inexpensive and I remember dealing with them from before as being attentive to repairs.  They were willing to give us a cheap price, come out to pick up the unit, take it to their store for repairs and bring it back.

My overall experience with them was okay. I had a problem with the way they made up the invoice, but the work was fine. He did not work the invoice down, like how much at the end it is going to cost, I just wish he would itemize it. I am in a service contract with them.

Warranty work. Was able to diagnose the problem quickly and replace the part right away. Very polite and efficient.

I don't remember how long it took for them to come out here and I think they came the next day. He wasn't here for very long, he replaced the part and he was on his way.  I thought his price was kind of high and I don't know how much the part cost and what the market price was.

Horrible experience. First serviceman came and replaced the water hose to fix the leak in the dishwasher. That didn't work. Called every day the following week and each day I was assured someone would be there that day. Finally on the fifth day a young man showed up at the end of the day and was here for @ 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the leak did not appear while he was here since the leak was in the intake water valve above where the elbow joint connects to the water hose, so it took a while for the leak to be visible. Leak became visible a short while after the repairman left. I wasn't going to go through another week trying to get them back, so called another company who promptly fixed the leak.

We found them on Angie's list and they were awful. I called them on January 26th and they still haven't resolved the problem. They came out and said I needed a door hinge, so we had to order it and they charged me for that. The other unit they said they couldn't do anything until I turn it off and leave it over the weekend. I turned it off and I had to transfer a lot of stuff to another freezer and refrigerator. It started working because they fixed a heater element, then they said I couldn't do anything until the ice was gone. I left it off for a day and the ice on the outside was gone so I turned it back on. He came back on Monday and said the ice on the inside wasn't gone and he couldn't work on it. He said he would put the part on but not put it all back together because of the ice, in the meantime I had food I needed to get back in it. He said I could accelerate it by getting a hair drier out, but he said he wasn't waiting. I got all the ice out and I had to put it back together myself. I called them and asked what was going on because he was supposed to come back and work on the hinge of the other fridge. Apparently the original guy had gotten fired so they sent out another guy and they charged me another fee and then he said he'd have to order another hinge. They replaced the coupler and said that wasn't the problem and the only other thing it could be is the compressor. They said they don't repair that in house and would have to take the unit away for 3 days. They sent a repair man out to do it in house and ever since then the door hinge hasn't been a problem anymore. I am absolutely disgusted with A-1. I would also say they are over priced.

Completely satisfied.

What can I say? Within two hours of calling A-1, my dryer was working again! The gentleman on the phone and the service rep were straightforward, no nonsense. I would definitely use them again.
