YARDS DONE RIGHT

I was looking for a lawn service that did a bit more than just mow and edge grass. Came across this company in another neighborhood. Contacted Dale and he came right out. Told him I would be moving forward with his crew and inform my crew not to service lawn anymore. Before calling I emailed Dale for a date his crew was coming. No reply. I emailed several times more and again, no reply. I called and left messages and you guessed it right, no reply. Not the way to run a company and horrible communication. I even told him I’m without a Gardner to please reply. Fortunately, I got my old landscaping service back with embarrassment. I would not recommend this company to any one.

The men came to the house and decided to trim all the bushes and clean the beds.  This was not a job we requested.  This would not have been bad if they knew what they were doing.  They cut all my ornamental grasses to stubs.  They cut bushes way too much for a September trim.  This was more of a winter clean than what would be appropriate for this time of year.  I was working on growing my bushes up to hedges but they cut them down to little squares.   This happened once before and I spoke to the owner and explained how to cut the hedges grasses, and flowering bushes.  The men also stepped on small plants, killing them.  The owner apologized and said he would replace the plants.  He didn't.  Just when my flowering bushes and ornamental grasses had recovered from the last assault, they showed up again and cut everything down.  Remember, I specifically told them not to do this.  When I came home and saw the damage, I was upset.  We called the owner and he dismissed my knowledge of plants and bushes.  He was rude and really didn't care if he lost our businesses.  
Do not use this service if you have a garden that you have worked to make beautiful.

We will never suggest Yards Done Right to anyone.  Their customer service needs major improvements as well as their quality of service.
