This project took two days and each day the company showed up an hour late. While the project would naturally make a mess due to the nature of the job, there was an excessive amount of texture over spray that landed on walls 10+ feet away. This wasn't detected until I pointed it out. It appears that the doors are installed well and the wall seems sound. The painting, however, is a different story. The paint did not completely cover and sheet rock is visible through the paint. The paint used is a high quality primer/paint product so it should have covered no problem. The white trim for the door, door trim, and base boards took multiple coats of paint and there are noticeable runs in the paint, the wood as rough spots (I would think that would have been sanded prior to painting), and the door trim and base boards seams are not smooth. Outside the house, there are countless spots that are either white paint or texture. The problems were not fully discovered until a couple days later. I spoke with Carlos at least 3 times and was told he would come back. He has not shown up and is now avoiding my calls, voice mails, and emails.

We had considered XCM Construction for other projects but, based on this experience, will not and do not recommend them.
