Erik came on time. We went over everything before he started. He installed everything really fast (~90 min) and change the nozzles in the sprinkle system that needed to be change to have a good coverage. Afterwards, he explained how the system works. He gave me his contact information to get back with him anytime I needed it. Really nice guy and professional.

After failing to show up on two occasions after rescheduling, this company never showed to make the repairs. Not sure what the circumstances were, but I scheduled an appointment, the appt was then pushed back by the company. Then the company didn't show for the rescheduled appt, so we rescheduled again and again another no show. I've given up and am calling another company.

I told Eric not to do the job. He left but did not put the black piece that is part of the valve back. He said the helper broke it off (I was there to see it also), and now they cannot put it back. He also said since the valve is broken, he does not need to try to put it back. I did not give them a hard time, but what if it was not the valve that was broken, he should leave my valve the way it was when he came. Without testing the sprinkler or zone 1 as I mentioned, he told me what he think it is based on what I told him of the problems with zone 1, but he said he will charge me more if the problem in zone 1 (that I describe to him) is not what he thinks it is. Then, he suggested that I should replace the valve in zone 3 first for $275 and then go from there since he said that he cannot test or know what else is wrong unless he replaces the valve in zone 3 first. I am not sure if this is correct. But, I feel that he should check or test the sprinkler especially zone 1 which he did not. Is there a way to check to see if zone 1 has a valve that is bad if you are a sprinkler expert?

We moved into a new house and started pricing out irrigation systems. I was told to give Eric at AIM Mosquitos a call. He came out immediately and left an estimate. His price was right and began work the next week. His guys were out in the morning and worked hard the whole day. They took care to not tear up the lawn and placed the sod back when finished. They used quality parts and explained everything to me. Eric is quick to respond by phone or text.

We did not use them because it was not in our budget. They were punctual and professional in their quote.

I called Eric regarding my leaky sprinkler valve and the need to install an additional sprinkler head for better irrigation. Eric came as agreed, gave me a quote on the price, which I accepted, and did the job with his assistant. An hour later everything was looking good and operational.

AMAZINGLY FAST turnaround. I got a quote on 21 May, and my system was fully installed and up and running on the 24th. He uses name brand equipment (Toro controller, etc.). Eric's quote was the lowest, and by far the quickest turnaround. Most of these firms are booked up for 4-8 weeks during the peak season. There were a couple of heads where Eric misunderstood my desired locations, and the mosquito-control injection was crooked at first, but I texted Eric, and he sent a guy out who fixed everything perfectly, with no hassles. The mosquito add-on looks a bit dubious for what it costs (not much money in hardware, by my estimate), but we went ahead and bought it because those little buggers can really ruin the time outdoors. We can also fertilze through it. Consider this injector hardware optional. The sprinkler-system proper seems just fine (I've had 3 such systems installed over the years); coverage is good.

Due to last year's drought, I have to re-sod my entire yard. Considering that expense plus the landscaping, I decided to install an irrigation system first. The sod company that I am using provided a referral to Eric Blakley and also mentioned that Eric installed mosquito and pest control systems along with the irrigation system. Eric called me promptly, came by the next day, and gave me a bid. We negotiated the price and arrived at an agreed figure for the irrigation system, mosquito control, and replacing the water line from the meter to the house. We shook hands on the deal on Friday morning, and the supply truck dropped off the materials that same afternoon. Eric and his crew showed up promptly at 07:00 AM, the next morning, and were finished by 03:00 PM. I am still a little in shock that a Houston contractor actually arrived when he said he would, did what he agreed to do, and did not try to slip in some extra charges. The install crew for the irrigation system did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. Eric put in the mosquito control system himself. He fully explained the system and tested it in my presence. I am well satisfied. Note: Eric is a high energy person and doesn't sit still very long at any time. Ask him any question that you want to, and he will give you an answer. Just be prepared to follow him around while talking.
