Window Genie

We had an appointment on July 21st. Unfortunately they no showed no called. I figured they just didn't need my money so I moved on. Unfortunately they did not they showed at my home on July 26th and said my appointment was for that day. I had traveled and got in at 3am so having them show up at 930 to tell me I had an appointment was odd I was half asleep still. I said no not today and went back to lay down. My wife and I both received text upon text saying we owed money and that i slammed the door in the worker face. Appears the texts was not enough she called me and proceeded to yell at me telling me I owe them money for wasting time and gas and that they would make trouble at my wife's work. Screaming at me I could not get a word in. I was then hung up on and blocked. Seeing how she made the accusation I was stealing money from them I called the franchise corporate. They said they would call them but being it is a franchise nothing could be done. This will effect the way I choose companies in the future. I did receive an email sent to my wife telling her to say sorry to me. I did not feel it was genuine and sent them an email asking to talk with them as I have been accused of stealing time and money and did not want to have the police called for theft of services. Long story short they said sorry again in the email and that i owe them nothing and they are moving on. I still do jot think it is genuine as I was yelled at on the phone and hung up and blocked. I think a real apology would have been nice. I may be old school but hiding behind email makes it seem disingenuous. The email stated they had looked at the wrong date. I tried to explain that on the call as we set the appointment via text. All they had to do was read before yelling and being rude. I lost sleep being so upset at such a simple thing they blown up. I felt I had to watch out front for my property thinking they may come back as angry as they where. All and all I will not use them.

They were efficient, professional and timely. They went to work and didn't interrupt my schedule. The technicians were respectful.

The guys who came were very nice and did a great professional job. This is our second time using them and will use them again.

We called for an estimate fisrt and they came few days after the call.
After that we schedule the service, they came on time (they gave me a call when they were on their way to my home) they did a good job and they were very nice.
I will use their serivce again.

It went well - they were good. They showed up on time and they cleaned up after themselves. The windows stayed clean for a while, and past a few rains.

It went okay.  The crew did an adequate job.  When I was about to pay I called their office to confirm that Angie List's patrons receive a 10% discount.  The office said yes.  My pre-tax total was $150 (about an hour and 15 minutes) so I stated that I would subtract $15 dollars.  I was told since $150 is the minimum charge therefore I could not get the 10%.  What is the reasoning behind that?  
I hope that it was worth losing a customer for $15.

They gave an accurate estimate and were extremely professional.  They did a great job! They followed up after the job was completed to see if I was satisfied with their work.  I would highly recommend them to others.

They did a great job. I just bought a new house and the windows probably hadn't been washed in years and they cleaned them all, and they look great. Will definitvely use them again.

The price was extremely reasonable considering the scope of the job, they did excellent work, and they arrived on time.  They did leave a bit of debris in the yard, but it wasn't a lot.

I have to rate these folks A++.  The young men showed up on time and were more than helpful and fair.  They have a minimum charge of 150.  I was primarily focused on 4 inside high windows.  In their honesty, they told me that for the minimum, they could also do several other tasks.  Given that, I will use them over and over.  They could have easily charged me the minimum for the 4 windows and stopped.  They initiated a conversation on what other things they could do so I would get services for the full minimum charge.  Not many vendors would do that.  As a matter of fact, before I called Window Genie, I had contacted another vendor from Angies List.  Their minimum was 250.  When they came back with a quote for the four windows, they quoted 650.00.  Yes, you heard right.  With that said, I can not say enough about the honesty of Window Genie and their staff.

Window Genie provided excellent service.  The appointment was scheduled in an efficient, friendly manner and the estimate was right-on.   It was not an uncomplicated job....aged screens need to be carefully unlatched and pushed open from inside; furniture must be moved; some windows have older, fragile glass.   Sarge and Ken were punctual and did the work professionally with obvious pride and quality results. I love having clean windows!

We could not be happier with the Window Genie. One of the owners came to our home to carefully take photos and measure, then call me back with a firm bid. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask about the patio at the time but the technicians took care of it on the day of service. On the day of service, the workers were prompt, English speaking, courteous and eager to please. They worked quietly and efficiently. After owning a home for over 40 years, I learned a terrific method for cleaning windows but they couldn't share their secret ingredient in their cleaning mixture. Guess I will just keep having the Window Genies return twice a year because my home and windows have never looked better.

Very good would recommend and use again

Window washing on the outside only - didn't put all screens back on - and didn't clean the laundry room window.  I was standing in the laundry room and watched the guy wash the upper part but didn't take the screen out to clean the bottom part.

Blow roof clean...They blew but didn't take the extra step to sweep the area that had the most of the leave/pines needles.  They clean up the what was blown off and left it in my flower beds. 

Power washing...was okay.  I asked if they would move patio furniture/stuff off the patio to clean and they said yes.  But did not move the umbrella so I will have to do that myself to clean.

I won't use them again as it was expensive and they didn't go that extra mile.

They were late and had to borrow a pair of pliers but the work went well.

The service was excellent from the owner Ernie who gave me the quote to the two technicians who did the cleaning.  They delivered on what they promised and at the price I was quoted.  The two technicians were friendly and very thorough in their work.  They did an excellent job of cleaning the windows.  I will use their service in the future.

This a repeat for me with these guys.  I have a lot of windows in a mid century home, with windows from floor to ceiling. They do a great job.
