Westside Maids

I was very pleased - they were prompt, with 4 ladies doing the cleaning. My master bath and kitchen needed a little extra attention and they are now sparkling clean. Baseboards are spotless, bed linens were changed, sinks and tub are like new. They're very reasonable and with 4 of them, it didn't take the whole day. I highly recommend them, and I will surely use them again.

We have them every 2 weeks. We may be expecting too much. It is just maintenance work and we still find things that are a little dusty. But they are things that are not within the realm of what they consider maintenance cleaning.

You are not making the bid, we have to call you back to make the bid to our standards, so we don’t think so. Their billing process could be done differently. They used a Quick Book automated system. They would end up not sending out invoices and then a month or two later when they got caught up. “Well, you haven’t paid this invoice yet!” Well, I haven’t paid that invoice because I haven’t gotten it. That happened like tree times during time we were using them.

I first started using Westside Maids about 2 years ago. At first, I was okay with the service, but found that as time went on the quality of work suffered. I would communicate any concerns and would be rectified, but in time, the same issues occurred. It also, didn't help that I didn't always have the same crew which I requested. I was never informed ahead of time that due to vacation etc my crew wouldn't be coming. So, wasn't able to reschedule. I finally had enough when my husband started pointing out things. Such as, fans were dusty along with cobwebs on light fixtures. Bathroom floors continuously had hair on them and the list goes on. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The 2 ladies that come every week are fantastic. They do an outstanding job, and if we need a little extra if we are having company, they do not mind doing a little extra. I have had no complaints at all with their service.

Westside Maids does a great job. The same crew has been cleaning my home for several years. They quickly clean my home in a little over an hour. I would highly recommend them.

They do a mediocre job and you have to contact them every couple of cleanings to make sure that the crew is doing a good job. They seem to miss something almost every time - not dusting everything, not cleaning the bathroom floor, not putting the trash where they are supposed to, etc. This has been one of my biggest gripes - that the cleaning wasn't consistent. One week, everything would be okay, the next the bathroom floor wouldn't be mopped or nothing the the master bedroom dusted. It's ridiculous that you have to call them up and tell them to make sure that they are doing their job. BUT, the final straw was today. They showed up early today - I'm not talking 10:00 when they were supposed to be there at 10:30, but 7:30am, when they aren't supposed to be there until about 8:30am. When my wife asked them to wait for just thirty minutes so she could finish getting ready, she was told that they had a lot of houses to clean that day, but okay they will wait. My wife goes back into the bedroom and when she comes out about 10 minutes later, the maids have COME INTO THE HOUSE ANYWAY and started cleaning! Needless to say, Westside Maids was FIRED TODAY. I'LL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

They do a great job, they are very reliable and accommodating. They always do good work.

They do a good job for me. I spend $65 every two weeks. I chose them based on their advertisement in a neighborhood magazine. Their service is not perfect by any means, but it is better than the one I had before. I would use them again in the future.

When we first started with the company the work was completed as expected. As time continues, things started not to be done, fan blades were not cleaned, showers we not cleaned, floors were not cleaned. The crew of 3 would often finish my house in less than 1 hour. (I sat outside my house and timed them several times) When things were pointed out, it was corrected the next time and then started sliding again.

Three ladies came out, and they did a good job. They have their little routine, and all 3 of them worked very hard doing their individual areas. They bought all their own supplies and went right to work. Sometimes they quote one price, and then they sort of increased it slightly at the end because they wanted to chip or do something. I paid whatever they said was the price.

I called their office while they were here to ask if the cleaners were legal, because they did not look legal. The got upset and left. DO not ask if they are legal immigrants or else they run away. For 1 hour it was $71.50.

Things were a little hectic around the house so my wife thought she would get some help. We tried Westside Maid Service one day for a few hours. They sent out 2 ladies and they were satisfactory. We did not find they did a very good job. We never called them again after that, as the work we needed done was not done to very good standards.

I have a teaching job and work almost two shifts, so I hired a company to keep the house clean. When they started three months ago, I was very happy because a great deal of effort was being put in to their job. There are three girls, and they spend two hours here. Lately, they have eased up a little on their effort. They still do a respectable job, but not nearly as good as when they first started. I also want them to clean the kitchen, that is very time consuming, and so far they have refused to do it. I plan on talking with them and trying to change their mind.

Westside Maids answered my call promptly and followed up readily with an estimate and housecleaning. They were very reasonable with their prices and were able to explain the specific cleaning solutions and equipment they would use. The housecleaning was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set, and the three maids were on time. They split up in different rooms to vacuum, dust the furniture, mop the floors, wipe off the window sills and baseboards, and also cleaned the ceiling fans. The maids cleaned the house from top to bottom in two hours and did an excellent job.

WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AT MY HOME AT NOON, BUT THEY ARRIVED AT 10:20. I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THEIR EARLY ARRIVAL. ON THE OTHER HAND, THEY ANTICIPATED TAKING 3 HOURS TO COMPLETE THE CLEANING AT $50 PER HOUR, BUT THEY GOT IT DONE IN ONLY 2 HOURS. THEY MISSED SOME THINGS, BUT SOME OF THEM WERE BECAUSE I DID NOT REMIND THEM. THEY WORKED VERY HARD AND REALLY TRIED TO DO EVERYTHING WELL. I AM GOING TO BRING THEM BACK AGAIN. OVERALL, I WAS VERY PLEASED.

FOR A FIRST, INITIAL CLEANING, THEY CHARGED $50/HOUR, WHICH I THOUGHT EXCESSIVE, BUT FOUND REASONABLE AFTER CONTACTING OTHER MAID SERVICES WHO CHARGED MORE PER HOUR FOR A CREW OF 2 (THERE WERE 3 TO THIS CREW). THE PRICE IS FIXED AFTER THIS CLEANING TO A MORE REASONABLE AMOUNT (APPROX. $80/DAY). THEY WERE A FEW MINUTES LATE AND STAYED FOR 7-1/2 HOURS, COMPLETING ALL THE CLEANING REQUESTED AND THEN SOME. THIS CREW WAS EXTREMELY DILIGENT AND POLITE AND VERY IMPRESSIVE IN THEIR DETERMINATION TO COMPLETE THE JOB RIGHT. THERE APPEARED TO BE NO CORNERS CUT. I PLAN TO HIRE THEM AGAIN ON A MORE REGULAR BASIS TO KEEP THE ''SPARKLE'' THEY HAVE BROUGHT TO MY HOUSE. THEY WERE VERY, VERY IMPRESSIVE.

WE SWITCHED TO WESTSIDE FROM A LARGER COMPANY BECAUSE OF THEIR LOWER PRICE AND BETTER WORK ETHIC. WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH WESTSIDE SINCE MAKING THIS SWITCH.

THEY CLEANED MY HOUSE. NOT ONE PERSON SPOKE ENGLISH, WHICH WAS DISAPPOINTING. BUT OVERALL, I HAD A CLEAN HOUSE.
