Vision Pools & Outdoors

Great communication and great work at a fair price. Drained, cleaned, bead blasted, removed and installed new decorative tiles around rim and applied new plaster on the entire pool. Pool looks better than new.

If you want a pool installed you cannot go to a store and say I will take this one.   We found Vision Pools via a recommendation of a neighbor.  We also meet with several people who had recently had their pools built by Vision.  All commented on how pleased they were with the finish product.

Mr. Langford patiently work with us to realize the very pool we wanted to have as part of our home  He first visited us in October of 2014.  After seeing the backyard space, we decided a rectangular configuration would best fit easement constraints.  He  presented us with  visual design layouts and initial quote listing all pool equipment and decking and their individual cost.  We reviewed the proposal and asked him to go over the bill of materials to explain pros and cons of these and alternatives and options. This process took several meetings to establish what would become the construction contract.  At these meeting he answered all our questions and concerns to our satisfaction.  Going to admit, we can be hard to deal with when it comes to selecting things and their cost.

Construction began the beginning of February.  Vision Pools is Mr. Langford.  He subs out all of the needed trades.  And we discovered these subcontractors had long histories working for him. When subs were scheduled, Mr. Langford was also present and very active in seeing that everything was to his standard.  He grew up working with his father who constructed pools.  One really important thing:  Mr Langford's staying on top of everything.  He quickly returned calls and notifed us of when work was scheduled or changed. 

The pool and decking was completed the ending week of March even with a few rainy days  There were several very small problems that were handled with no hesitation.  Since completion, Mr. Langford has been back several times to make sure everything is okay. We have never owned a pool.  Mr. Langford has walked us through, several time, on how to maintain the pool equipment systems and the water quality procedures.

   




 

The design was beautiful and fit our country setting perfectly.  Creative and flexible in the planning phase, very good value (I solicited 6 quotes/designs for this project and Vision Pools was very competitive).  Every obstacle we encountered during the construction phase was overcome and managed professionally.  They completely refinished the pool with new plaster, inlets and drains, led lights, glass tiles on steps, decking, travertine coping, new waterfall on the spa, 14 ft travertine waterwall, and an automated remote for all functions.  The pool looks great and has created a wonderful focal point for the backyard patio area. The creative design and beautiful rock materials made this pool company stand out from the rest.  Highly recommend.

The owner of Vision Pools is one of the most attentive contractors we have used. He pays close attention to every detail. The sub contractors he provided were all hand selected and each one provided excellent work. He is full on initiative ideas and suggestions that helped us build a beautiful pool. Every sub contractor conducted themselves in only the most respectful manner. When a concern is brought before Curtis he makes it his personal business to eliminate that as an issue.  I would highly recommend Vision Pools. I do not believe after our experience you would be disappointed.

We love our new pool and outdoor living space.  The project was on schedule and finished as promised.  Curtis (the owner) was extremely easy to work with, available (on-site daily during construction) and easily accessible by phone, and very flexible with our growing list of wants/changes.  The construction site was kept clean and he and his contractors were respectful of our property and privacy.  The great customer service continued even after construction was completed as Curtis responds to questions quickly and even checks in with us periodically to make sure everything is going ok.  Our pool and outdoor living area are just as we wanted...beautiful, inviting, and functional.

The experience has been very good so far. He has done very well as far as communication and letting us know what is going on. He gave us the options and let us pick what we wanted and he was very helpful about it.

Curtis Langford met with us at the end of last year in response to our inquiry into building a pool and covered patio in our backyard. He listened to us and designed what we asked for rather than what he thought we might "really want" as so many other companies did. His first try came really close but when we asked for modifications, he was very receptive to our ideas and quick to return those ideas on paper. Once we had a solid design, he asked what our schedule was and advised us on a realistic start date to accommodate our needs rather than his. His team completed the backyard that my wife and I always wanted - on time and in time for a great summer. It looks the way we described it... Only better. It honestly looks like a magazine cover. We are thrilled!! The workmanship and equipment is top notch and surprisingly low maintenance. We love it now and it is made so that we will love it for years to come. Curtis of Vision Pools is interested in doing things the right way the first time but if it isn't right he will make sure it gets that way. He is detail oriented, yet able to keep the big picture in sight. This has been the best and easiest home improvement project we have done. If you are in the market for a pool or backyard oasis, I would give Vision Pools my highest recommendation.

While we did not go with Vision, Curtis Langford was professional and provided us with quick drawings after his visit. The only drawback is that it is a small company with not a lot of years to measure their track record. It might take longer with Vision to get a quote done and finalise things because of thier size.

After getting multiple proposals and meeting with other pool company reps, we chose Vision Pools because of their price but mainly because of the owner, Curtis Langford.  He was very easy to work with and never hesitated to make a design change for us. He made suggestions on color, rock, etc. but let the decision be ours. He maintained daily oversight of our project. His crews were top-notch and maintained professionalism at all times.  They also worked very well with the other contractors that were working on other projects on our property.  Even though it was a busy time of the year, they were able to complete our project on time and on budget.  Even after our project was finished, Curtis continued to check on us to make sure everything was going okay and we were satisfied with the end results. We highly recommend Vision Pools and would absolutely call them again.

They were quick, responsive and very helpful - I never got pricing from them, so I can't compare the bids, but their design was exactly what we were looking for. To be completely fair, I will probably call them about building a covered patio, but we had decided to go with another pool builder and didn't have time to get further estimates. They seemed very easy to work with, so maybe next project.

Awesome experience.  This is my fourth pool to build and my best experience by far.  He shows up on time and finished quickly.

Curtis was very helpful during the design process and assisted with offering very valuable suggestions based on his experience and knowledge. A Very detailed, 3D animation was used to give us the most real life overview of how the final design would look. Throughout to construction process, Curtis was on sight to make sure the contractors were meeting the highest of standards. It was evident that Curtis and his contracts had a very good working relationship. I was kept up to date on the construction process and was informed in a timely manner if there would be any deviations from the original schedule. I am very pleased with how my pool and outdoor kitchen turned out. Curtis has turned my backyard into a true paradise. I would highly recommend his services for your pool and outdoor needs.

Overall, the experience was worth the outcome.  My son swims every day, whether it be for a few minutes or at least an hour.  The biggest issue I had was the initial dig because of the dirt my pets tracked into the house.
