They're really good. The location is right here by the house. Wait time was about 15 minutes.

I pay more because my dog is older and he has to undergo therapy and other special services. They have six veterinarians and each of them has his own specialization. It makes me feel comfortable that they are knowledgeable in the different fields of veterinary medicine.

He is just amazing. All his doctors on staff are wonderful too. They provide physical therapy, accupuncture, etc for the pets as well as conventional medicine.

Dr. Ahrens is an extraordinary veterinarian. He is very knowledgable, caring and very good at what he does. He specializes in the care of older animals and is just an excellent vet. I do not have my animals any more but I would definitely go back to him if I ever had the need because the level of trust I have for him is so great.

I saw them on an on-going basis for several years and their prices were very competitive. I would go back to Veterans Memorial Drive Animal Hospital.

I called this morning because I was out of Heartgard and my dog's monthly dose was due. I had planned to call a week or so ago, but kept forgetting. They worked me into the schedule, even though they were running a vaccination clinic. When I arrived they had a cost estimate and I was immediately taken to an exam room.\ This time I saw a new veterinary that I had not dealt with before and she was very professional. Usually I specify Dr. Lisa Knap. She is one of the few veternarian's in town that perform chiropracty on animals. A number of years ago my dog was in a lot of pain, I took him to Dr. Knap thinking he had hurt his leg. She diagnosed a neck injury and performed a few minutes of chiropracty on him. When she put him down, he no longer seemed to be in any type of pain. I also like the fact that when I took him to her a few years ago with a lump she immediately diagnosed that he had a mast cell tumor. Due to its location she insisted on referring him to a cancer specialist as she stated she did not feel comfortable performing the surgery. I appreciated her honesty and concern that my dog get the best possible treatment, when she could just as easily have attempted to treat him herself. Fortunately the specialist she referred him to was able to perform successful surgery and he is the same dog that I took for his Heartgard exam this morning. Everyone that works at the clinic seems to genuinely like animals and take an interest in them. While he was being treated for cancer by the specialist, they kept in touch with the other vet and shared x-rays, tests, etc. They also called several times to check on how he was doing with his treatment.
