US Security Gate

I was very pleased. There were some misunderstandings that were taken care of that probably shouldn't have happened but they were quite flexible and sorted them out. The project turned out quite well.

They did a fantastic job and they did everything quickly within a day.

The company was quick to respond to my service request and send someone out to investigate my problem. The technician didn't have the needed part (the gate receiver had died), but was able to obtain a replacement part and install it within 24 hours. The technician was knowledgeable and the company was very quick to respond. I'll definitely call them again for service on my gate. 

My Mother needed a good fence company to install her fence so I shared this companys info to her. They did a great job from start to finish. She was very pleased with every thing that they performed. A great fence company you can count on for a great price.

They were just great. They came out very quickly. The person who came out to look at my particular problem diagnosed the problem quickly and told me how it could be fixed. We agreed on the price and he literally went off and came back the next day. They had to make something at their shop to do this. He installed the pieces and it was just great. They did a super job. I will absolutely use them again.

They are awesome. They are very professional, did the work in a timely manner, and the quality of the work was very good. It is a family owned business and they were very nice to work with.

They provided a quote based on my estimates, then came out to the property to check estimates since I didn't feel comfortable with my estimation. Henry was very helpful in the process and answered all my questions and concerns. They communicated all steps necessary and worked with us during some set backs we presented during installation. We were very pleased with the end product and process.

US Security Gate was responsive from the first phone call when I requested an estimate.  I gave them very general guidelines as to the design, i.e., pretty, not like a jail cell door, but no frills, and they designed a beautiful gate that I love.  They were professional, punctual and responsive throughout the entire process.  I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Overall, an extremely frustrating and overpriced experience.  Our house is a patio home enclosed by a brick wall.  We wanted a metal security gate installed in it.  I called US Security gate to get information and a quote.  They sounded professional enough, if a little unorganized.  I called back a few days later to tell them I accepted their quote and asked them to proceed. We paid a 50% deposit at this time. 
This was early December, and I was told we would have the door customized to our specifications and installed before Christmas.  I was told someone would give me a call in a few days to set up a time to meet at the house and measure up and discuss what exactly we wanted and finalize the design.  I was a little concerned when I called the second time and they had absolutely no idea who I was, had no record of what we had discussed and they even asked me what the amount they quoted me was.
Christmas came and went and never heard a word for them.  We traveled out of town over New Year's and I planned to give them a call when I got back to town on January 2nd.
When we did get home on January 2nd, there was a really ugly gate installed.  Apparently they had skipped the measuring up process, and ignored the design we asked for.  Just came by without an appointment, and while no one was home, and proceeded to remove our old door and install a new gate (that wasn't what we asked for).  Among other details, we had specifically asked for a gate that was flat across the top, this one had a large ornate arch.  We had asked for a mesh screen installed over the entire gate, it wasn't there. We had asked for a specific lock (which they quoted us $270 for), and what we got was the standard one you get at home depot for $20.  On the day they installed the gate, they went ahead and charged my credit card for the remaining 50% - without ever speaking to us, a charge I would not have authorized since the work was not at all what we ordered.  I had to call my bank to dispute the charge. 
I called US Security Gate the next day.  Got a lot of apologizing, and was told that someone would call me to set up a time and come by and remove the gate they installed and get the details on exactly what we wanted (even though we had already given this to them 3 times).
Never heard from them, but the next day I got home from work and again, someone had come by without any notice and while no one was home.  Instead of removing the gate as they had said, someone just came by and cut the arched part off the top of the gate.  That was it.
Yet again, I called US Security Gate and got more apologies and was told this didn't usually happen and there had been some miscommunication with their staff.  
I gave a full description of what we wanted, once again.  A couple days after that, they did manage to get us a new gate.  It was close to what we ordered but still had a few issues with it.
At that point I just gave up.  Dealing with US Security Gate was such a frustrating and painful experience.  I didn't want to even ask for anything else, because I have no confidence they were competent to do it and I really don't like the idea of people coming to my house without notice, and when no one is home and performing work on my house - especially on the security features of the house (you would think a company called US Security Gate would be sensitive to that sort of thing).
Overall, it was a huge headache and a massive source of frustration. US Security Gate had people working on my house without any notice at least 3 times, and we ended up with a disappointing and over priced product.

We had a superb experience with this company. There were one or two miscommunications over scheduling but these were quickly resolved as Maureen was almost always available by telephone to expedite. Henry, her husband, was a delightful guy and had all the qualities of a great business owner. He was punctual, well-dressed, knowledgeable about the business and his products, friendly and respectful, and completely open and honest. He also, as promised, came out to the job site to inspect the work upon completion and ensure that we were completely satisfied, which we are. The company's installation technician was a first class craftsman. He knew exactly what he was doing. He needed absolutely no supervision or guidance from ourselves, which has often been the case with other contractors in the past. He was punctual, affable, professional, came in a company vehicle and dressed in a company uniform. He got on with his work quietly and diligently. He was not constantly on the cellphone, and he brought everything he needed for the job, which meant that he didn't have to disappear to get stuff once the work had started. He was very methodical and was clearly very experienced and competent in each of the facets of the job - welding, assembly and electrics. This company - the two owners and the technician - were a pleasure to work with. It was one of least stressful experiences we have ever had with contractors visiting our property ....... and we found them on Angie's list. "Thank you", Maureen, Henry and Aurelio.

We needed the contractor to re-program the garage-door opener receiver about three months after installation. It lost the frequency carried by the remotes. The technician, instead of doing this, was able to remove the additional receiver and re-program the garage-door opener's native receiver itself, removing the need for the additional receiver. We required new remotes, but these were provided free of charge by the contractor under their warranty. Outstanding service, once again, and demonstrates a commitment to follow-up customer service and upholding of a warranty. In addition, once again, scheduling was easy and the technician arrived on time with all the equipment and parts that he needed.

We received quotes from three different fencing companies and chose US Security Gate due to warranty, overall knowledge, flexibility with schedule and timeliness with replies (answers to my questions).  Quote was right in the middle of the three quotes given by companies selected.  However, US Security Gate was willing to give us more than a fair deal on all the little extra's we asked for. (i.e. lights, sensors, maglock, brick columns, etc.).  Additionally, they upgraded a number of items for us (at no cost).  Went very smooth from start to finish.  Henry was great to work with. Would recommend and would use again.

After providing an estimate, the installer came to measure for each gate. I provided the Sherwin Williams code for the paint. I gave them a days notice so the fence posts would be installed prior to the new driveway was poured I then called and told them that the driveway was completed and they installed and painted both gates. The gates look great and make getting one of my dogs into the car much easier because I don't have to put a lease on him. It was not fun chasing this dog that loves to run down the street before coming home to get a treat.
