When my old VCR broke, I was devastated. Yes, I am a dinosaur, but I love that old thing. Tom made my fears disappear when he diagnosed the problems and assured me that not only could it be repaired, but that he could repair it. It had multiple problems, but it's now purring like a kitten. Te guys at United really know what they are doing. This was a big job and they were up to the challenge. I trust the guys at United to do quality work for a fair price.. I will be a regular customer from now on!

Charged my 89 year old father-in-law $822.70 to REPAIR a 7.5 year old TV...Cost for a NEW 50" is under $500.00..Called Tom Phan and asked how he could take advantage of someone like that and he said "Good repair, TV work now"...Terrible person, as a previous reviewer said "Classic, blatant thievery in tis lowest form" What a crook, I'm reporting him to everyone, I hope you will do the same...

NOTE:PRICE A NEW TV BEFORE BRINGING IT IN ANYWHERE FOR REPAIR!!! Brought my 4 year old TV in with a bad circuit board. $80 to diagnose it. Nice man called back and said it was $350 more to replace a board. That makes about $450 for a repair and a NEW TV same size and brand and quality is now $600. Cost benefit makes repair really not a option. BOUGHT A NEW TV. Tech is very nice, but they could tell you that it probably isn't worth repairing before TAKING YOUR MONEY. $80 bucks for 15 minute works is a great deal for them.

ngie's list recommenccations, I decided to go for it and, according to my husband, all is well. The man speaks very broken English but knows electronics. I would recommend him.

They overcharged me and the TV is still not working right. The first time the tried to fix it they had to take it to the shop 4 times to get it fixed.

THEY CALLED AND SAID IT WOULD COST THIS MUCH TO REPAIR AND WHEN THEY CAME IT WAS HIGHER. I WOULD SUGGEST GETTING A WRITTEN ESTIMATE BEFORE WORK IS PERFORMED.

THE YOUNG MAN WHO CAME TO PICK UP THE TV (TOM) WAS VERY POLITE, AND EXPLAINED THAT I WOULD NEED TO PAY $40 FOR THE LABOR, AND $29.95 FOR THE PICK-UP IMMEDIATELY. THEN HE TOOK THE TV AWAY. I DID NOT EXPECT TO HEAR FROM HIM FOR SEVERAL DAYS, AND DID NOT EXPECT TO SEE THE TV AGAIN FOR A WEEK OR TWO. TOM CALLED THAT EVENING (AFTER THE SHOP HAD CLOSED) TO TELL ME WHAT WAS WRONG, AND GET MY APPROVAL TO FIX IT. I AGREED, AND ASKED HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE, EXPECTING IT TO BE A FEW DAYS. TOM SAID HE THOUGHT HE WOULD HAVE IT DONE THE NEXT DAY, HE WOULD CALL WHEN IT WAS DONE! HE DELIVERED IT TO US THE NEXT AFTERNOON! THE FEE FOR THE PICK-UP ALSO COVERED RE-DELIVERY. I WAS AMAZED AT THE SPEED OF THE REPAIR, IMPRESSED WITH TOM'S DILIGENCE IN GETTING IT DONE WITHOUT DELAY, AND PLEASED THAT WE HAD OUR TV BACK SO QUICKLY! THIS WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. I DID NOT HAVE TO MOVE THE TV SET AT ALL. TOM DID ALL THE WORK!
