This company requested that all of our employees who wanted a car wash park on the top level of our building parking garage. There were many cars parked in the spaces and this company spent the day washing them. Following the completion of the wash, I found that there were three small scratches to the back passenger door of my vehicle and I immediately brought it to the owner's attention. I drive a new luxury automobile and these scratches were not there prior to the wash. The owner looked at the scratches, confirmed that they could not be buffed out, tried to deny they had done it, and said he would return the following week with manufacturer/dealer touch-up paint. I was willing to try this - but it never happened. I have asked for their insurance information repeatedly since this incident and they have refused to provide this information. Is it possible that they do not have insurance?
In reflecting on this incident, I believe that the scratches were likely caused by the end rinse water wand when they were rinse water wand when they were rinsing the vehicle beside mine. Either way, I would caution anyone considering this company's services to obtain a current certificate of insurance be sent directly from their agent BEFORE any work is performed.
What an absolutely horrible experience.
