My experience with Richard Meli who provided me an estimate was extremely professional and prompt. He very knowledgeable about my trees and talked a lot about maintaining healthy shape etc. I felt the price was a little high, but still reasonable. The issue I had was with the crew who actually showed up to complete the work. I had informed Richard that I had a dog and needed to know when the crew would arrive so I could keep her contained, he did give me a window, but the workers pulled up and sprawled out in front of my front door to have lunch and my dog went crazy!  I let that go and took the dog to another part of the house. When the crew started working my impression was they were doing a good job. When trimming our trees in the back yard, one of the crew members was lounging on my patio furniture with his feet up, again agitating my dog who was inside with me. I spoke with Richard about this and relayed the message, but it took a while before this crewmember stopped using my outdoor furniture to take a rest. That experience made me very uncomfortable speaking with the manager (who was the lounging worker after all) at the conclusion of the work. I would most likely choose another provider in the future because I felt Trees Unlimited has a good upper management and trimming protocol, but the crew was less than stellar professionally.

Overall from start to finish the company did an excellent job and left my yard clean.

Went well. Tress Unlimited performed this service for us last year in July. They called to offer this service again this year, so I agreed. Our tree has grown slower than we thought it would and I think the fertilizer "jolt" last year made a difference. Hope we see another jolt of growth again this year. We were home when the crew showed up around 6 pm and they did their job, rang the bell to give us the invoice and I said I would mail it in.

Overall, went extremely well. The guys up front are very responsive and respect your time. A fair and reasonable quote was given for the job, the work was performed without my presence and they called afterwards to see if I was completely satisfied. While I did say they needed to do further trimming, they rescheduled a repeat visit without any hesitation or charge. I was there the second time and could point out any areas that needed further attention. Their crew worked fast and were friendly.Overall, I am extremely pleased with their work. This is the type of company that takes their work seriously and I would use them again without any hesitation.I would recommend them to all who had trimming and pruning needs in the Houston area.

Richard came promptly and gave an estimate. After comparing with another service that advertises heavily, I chose Trees Unlimited.
Their price was reasonable and I already knew they had a great reputation.

They were out the next day..The crew came with all the equipment they needed, did the work quickly and left my property clean and neat after hauling off the trimmings. I'd certainly use them again.

I had received a flier in the mail from Trees Unlimited and what I liked about their flier compared to others that I researched is that they not only pruned trees, they seemed to focus on the health of the trees (Rx for Healthy Trees). I called them and they were very quick to respond. I spoke to Richard Meli and told him that our tree (which is only a few years old) had an area on its trunk where the bark did not look healthy.

The tree was out front, so I told him he could come by at any time to assess the situation. Within a day or two, he had been out, assessed the problem and had left me an est imate. I called him back to tell him to go ahead and put us on his schedule, again, at his convenience as we did not have to be here. He came out and fertilized the tree and applied a spray, explaining the problem and the process.

He left the bill in our mailbox and payment is going out today. I would use their services again.

Estimate was on time and only took 10 minutes. We had 2 trees pruned away from my house and my neighbors. One tree completely removed, and another larger tree had all the dead wood removed for storm season. The crew showed up on time, almost to the minute, and they finished the work in about an hour. Great service and good value. I will use them again.

If I call them, they come by and give me and estimate. They are very easy to use.

Have used Trees Unlimited since 1998, always a bit expensive but always get my money's worth. You can get cheaper but probably not better. Very professional and long-time experienced employees. Highly recommend. You will have to wait your turn awhile, however, after a hurricane, because they have so many satisfied customers lined up to help.

I spent about $600 on the job. They were very fast and efficient. I think they were of good value and they were very professional. I will consider using them in the future.

We spent $400 on that work. I remember them being responsive and they came out quickly and got the job done. The price seemed to be pretty reasonable.

My experience with them has been wonderful. I haven't had a problem with them. A tree broke in half during Hurricane Ike, and I needed it taken out. I went to another business, and they were obviously very busy with bigger jobs. They sent a man down, and I was very unhappy with him. He was just trying to make money. He wanted to charge $900. Unlimited Trees took out two for $1000. It was fascinating to see the man up in the tree, cutting off limbs.

They responded quickly and submitted an estimate. They performed the work the next day to our satisfaction. They cleaned up perfectly. They had good, professional service.

Richard promptly returned my voice mail quote request. He delivered his estimate the same day and completed the work the following day upon my request. He was very professional.

A precious tree was falling over. Through Angie's list I got a local tree service. The boss came over the same afternoon to give an estimate. He was very helpful and courteous. The next morning, thanks to a cancellation, two guys came over and did the job. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did a good, careful job and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. The cost seemed reasonable.

Owner Jim Blanchard promptly returned my call and sent a team within two hours. The price was $130 less then one of their competitors quoted, and a flat fee vs hourly rate for the work, which seemed fair. I plan to get them to return to trim back the tree and others further. An overall great experience!

Promptly returned phone call and performed worked the next day. All trimmings were cleaned up and removed. Trimmed crepes as I requested - did not top them, but cut out old buds from last year and thinned canopy. Took time to discuss my request as well as my concerns for the oak trees. Called two days later to check if work was done as I wished and if there was anything else needed to further please me. Asked me to let him know if I had concerns. I was very pleased with their work and way of doing business.

The tree man returned my call quickly and came by to give me an estimate. His prices were very reasonable and was able to explain the damage the branches can cause hanging over the roof. The tree job was scheduled immediately, and the tree man showed up on time. He used a climbing rope to maneuver around so he could use the tree pruner to cut off the branches. He cleaned up all the limbs and bagged up the debris, loaded it, and hauled it away. He did an excellent job and left the yard in great shape.
