Plusses: We have a "new" master suite, with a very nice bathroom and walk-in closet.

Minuses: The crews repeatedly left food trash out where it attracted pests, used facilities they were asked not to use, killed the grass in our yard by cleaning their tools over it (instead of the pebbled area we had asked them to use), and generally disrespected our home. They didn't come on days they were expected, then would come other times (such as weekends) unexpectedly.  They let my new puppy escape the house once and didn't help to get her back, and repeatedly left the gate open even when reminded to close it.  Left muddy handprints around the house, and tracked mud throughout. Had to install the granite shower surround twice because they didn't do it the way the company owner told them to the first time. The grout the granite installers used doesn't match the grout the tile installer used, even though the granite person said it would cure to be the same color.  It didn't.  Three of the hanging rods that they installed in the closet have failed, one because it wasn't screwed into a stud and the others because the plastic end caps were over-tightened and subsequently cracked. When they extended an exterior wall to enlarge the bathroom and closet, it caused the porch roof below to leak any time it rains, a problem that has still not been corrected.  Had to install the controls to the ceiling fan twice, because they didn't ask us how we wanted it done; this has left us with an odd-looking switch panel that doesn't match its function.  While Tom is not a bad guy, he was a bad communicator and did not properly oversee his crews.

I am updating this to report that there has been yet another failure in the work performed. The light switch they installed in the bedroom is no longer working.
