The job was very professionally done. They found a way to tunnel under the patio without damaging it. They also added additional clean-out lines, which will enable rapid service if there is any problem in the future.
This is the most expensive of many jobs that the Plumbing Guy has done for us over the years. All of them have been done in a highly professional manner, with Paul drawing on his deep expertise to explain the approaches taken. I highly recommend the Plumbing Guy to anyone seeking a plumber.
- Extremely well.
He was fast, efficient, and thorough. He didn't seem to mind at all that I watched and asked questions; he was very courteous and informative. He found the clog (grease way down the line), he removed and replaced the corroded and damaged pipes, cleaned up thoroughly when he was done, and made sure everything worked smoothly before he left. His fee was fair and square and worth every penny.
We will definitely recommend him to others - in fact, I called Shelley to book him for a few other projects that we've been putting off before he was even out of the driveway!
We had a backed up laundry room drain and had first called John Moore, who sent out a plumber, a couple months back. The John Moore plumber determined, based on and quot;mudand quot; on the end of his auger, that the drain pipe, which went from the laundry room and kitchen sink underneath our house, had collapsed. A cost of a re-route would be over seven thousand dollars, with the John Moore plumber provided a written estimate. We were dismayed, to say the least. We lived with the situation, trying to figure out what to do, and when to budget it.
We next called and quot;The Plumbing Guy,and quot; to simply repair/replace a very old, stubborn leaking shower faucet, which had to be done anyway. That went fine, and The Plumbing Guy's charge was less than feared. So, after a couple weeks, we took the plunge and asked Paul Weitz to come back and look at the BIGGER problem, which we had been putting off: the and quot;collapsed drain pipe.and quot;
Well, Mr. Weitz went to work, and over the course of a couple hours, determined: (A) There was no and quot;busted drain pipeand quot; - Paul Weitz cleared the line out to the main sewer line; (B) found a second, partial clog from the laundry room adn cleared that; and (C) determined that the drain pipe did not even go under the house!
and quot;The Plumbing Guyand quot; - Paul Weitz and his assistant - explained every step along the way, as they were trouble shooting. Paul is very focused and determined when working on the job. They ran the power auger multiple times, down each drain entrance to make sure every thing was cleaned properly. Cost was less than $300, which was well worth it, given both money saved, and the time that and quot;The Plumbing guy put into the job.
Highly recommended.
