Definitely displeased 100%. Poor workmanship, will do nothing to make it rightâ ¦. Nothing but excuses!!! Decreased the value of my home!!!

Our deck was literally falling apart. Tom and Martin came out and assessed our raised deck with all its components. They found the underneath structure to be stable, so they replaced the deck top. These guys have so much experience! I was so impressed with the crew as well. They came out and replaced the deck with lovely heavy boards, and even routed the long edges to give the deck a beautiful finished look. The area around the deck was carefully cleaned up after construction. Now we have a beautiful deck to complement our home!

Overall, we are very pleased with our new deck from The Deck and Patio Company. The crew was very professional, polite, and friendly. Each day they spent the time to clean up the project site and were always willing to answer any questions we may have had. The quality of the wood, carpentry, and staining was excellent. The only drawback was the length of time (13 weeks) between contract execution and start of the work

Tom Ruddell was terrific - knowledgeable, professional, he really knew his stuff. We interviewed 3 different companies and we knew right away this was the one. He was responsive and detail-oriented throughout the process, which took about 3 weeks from plan to polish. I am a real estate agent and am adding him and this company to my trusted vendor list and will be recommending them to anyone who needs some home improvement done!

The Deck and Patio company installed a stamped concrete patio slab and shingle roof patio cover attached to home as well as electrical switches installation. It took 3 months to complete but weather was a contributing factor for length as well as Covid related material ordering delays. The quality is excellent and they came out later to repair issue with slab to my satisfaction. don't expect a project like this to be completed fast; it takes time.

This was a pergola repair. The deck and patio company built it for me 17 years ago. The Poly carb needed to be replaced along with the 2 x 2 support slats. They did a beautiful job and it looks good as new.

Second major project with this company, each experience superb. Quality craftsmanship, excellent follow thru a year later with promised cleaning of flagstone and refurbish crush granite walkway at no charge. This project was tear out old flagstone patio and install new and same with flagstone walkway. Would hire a third time.

The requested scope of work was a replacement of several in ground patio posts, replacement of water damaged soffit and siding, related trim work and full paint of exterior wood siding. In addition, a replacement of a patio door, and partial patio staining. Final cost was approximately $8,000. The quality of the work was fantastic. The job required diverse skillsets, and materials but the talent and knowledge existed within the crew, and the work exceeded expectations. At the end, when the money was spent, and I saw what I got, I was pleased. I advise being an active participant in the bidding process and ask questions. The project manager was very receptive to candid conversations around cost and managing expense. To a degree, this job had some ambiguous elements that we could have been tightened up which could have helped managed project expenses and customer expectations. There were multiple walk throughs during the project execution to make sure my expectations and concerns were being address. There is a strong desire to deliver a customer focused service with quality as the ultimate product. This is represented at the highest level of the organization directly to each crew member. So happy!

Excellent work again by The Deck and Patio Co. This is the second job they have done for us. The first was a complete deck replacement, along with tile work, and pool travertine repair. Every aspect of that job was exceptional! The job that was just completed, installing flagstone, was once again done with the same excellence. The flagstone looks great and the attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Martin and Jed who make this a great customer experience.

TDAPC Expanded our patio to 4x its original size. Added stamped concrete overlay. Added a massive pergola with power,ceiling fans,polycarbonate roof, and a French drain. They did GREAT WORK, kept to their timeline commitment, and charged a fair price.

They are all about making money off the customer. I will not recomend this company. Quality of material used was poor the $ not the customer should be the company's mission statement.

I met with Tom, told him what I wanted, and he drew up the project for me to review. I loved what he and the team produced. It was more expansive than the other vendors I contact, but the quality of what I would get was apparent. Tim and his crews were great to work with. I was pleased that Martinâ s standards were higher than mine! As a result, I got a stamped concrete patio with all the frills and a solid handsome cover. I had a 10 by 10 concrete slab for a back porch with pavers to extend it and a tent type cover purchased from Target. I wanted a covered patio that looked like it was built for the house, one that I could enjoy even when it is raining.

The Deck and Patio Company went above and beyond all of our expectations. From the start of the project, Tom helped make the process so easy for us. He made several trips out to our home to walk us through our options, and he even provided us with a mock up of our exact deck at no extra charge. Once we settled on a design, Martin and Jed came out to make sure everything was perfect before construction began. The craftsmanship displayed by Jaime and his crew was second to none. These guys were working hard from dusk til dawn and finished our deck in just 4 days! Martin was in constant contact with us making sure we were updated on the progress, and more importantly he would make a point to make trips on site to guarantee everything was going smoothly. You can tell that a lot of time, energy, and care goes into their work, and it shows through the beautiful finished product. We have already received so many compliments on our new deck, and we would recommend TDAPC to anyone wanting a beautiful outdoor space for anytime of the year!

We first hired Deck and Patio to build a new back yard deck with a pergola cover and walkway back in 2015. They showed us pictures from a variety of their past jobs and their references were so impressive that we also hired them to build a stone firepit off the deck, and added accent lighting along the walkway and deck. The finished work was so impressive that we are still (even today) getting comments from guests and even other service people that our back yard is so beautiful, a great place to relaxâ  and they are right. It was not without some glitches along the wayâ  for example, the firepit did not drain off the rain water properly at first. Unpredictable events like this occur with every job, but the difference with this company is that Martin is so attentive and so focused on customer serviceâ  they actually stayed with it until the problem was solved, and it has never occurred since. We cannot talk long about Deck and Patio without also referring also to the high level of workmanship and professionalism shown by the work crew. One of these, Charlie Fick, is particularly worthy of comment. A master painter, he takes the time to assess the needs of a job, including not just the color and tone of the paint itself, but the character of the wood and the way it takes the paint. Like Martin, he returns to check the quality of his work and measures it against a high standard. If he is not pleased with the result, he will repeatedly revisit the issue. He told me once that he looks at our place as if it were his own. Finally, our satisfaction with this company is so absolute that we are even discussing a regular program of maintenance in the future for the lighting system, pergola, stonework, and painting. Obviously, we are happy customers!

This company did a great job! They helped with design, answered all my questions and worked with me on price. They even helped when two sides of my fence well during a storm. They game me a good price and fixed it right away. They said while they were still there, of course they would to the fence.

Great quality but impossible to confirm a start date with these guys. Project took over a month start to finish, with only 4 days of actual work. Did not honor originally promised start date, and pushed it back twice. Had less than 24hrs notice each time they planned to arrive, forcing me to cancel work obligations and/or find last minute accommodations for two large dogs. Would not recommend if you have a timeline to keep or a rigid work schedule.

Great team to work with and was able to get it done last minute. The builders were very detailed and were always there when they said they would be. Only issue was the scheduling of the power wash and the staining of the deck. It was very last minute with no scheduling and when you have dogs and stuff like that it changes a lot of things when you can't use the backyard. Other then that they were awesome !

Great work, pergola work was exceptional. Installed stamped concrete and pergola, both great quality and work was superb. Great advice on design.

Was very happy with the job crew, they took pride in their work, true craftsmen.

I would like to have come up with a solution to repair the arbor, instead we had them just tear it down.
