After walking outside to find that someone hit my car and run, I was not looking forward to dealing with the cold, impersonal assembly line style "customer service" of either my insurance company or the auto body repair shops that work with them. To my utter and complete amazement, THE COLLISION LAB was the polar opposite of any previous dealings with any auto body repair shops. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Byron, one of the friendliest, most customer service driven people ever! Byron made me feel as though The Collision Lab had been established with the sole purpose to handle only my claim. The whole process from check in, to the time a rental car was waiting for me outside was no more than 15 minutes. AMAZING! If having my car fixed right and looking great on the date promised was the icing on my cake, then the detail job they threw in at no extra cost was definitely the sprinkles. As if that wasn't enough, when I went to pickup my car, Mr. Guy Mahaffey, Collision Lab administrator, personally came outside to walk me through the repairs done on my car. They even went so far as to fix a small ding on my car that wasn't part of my original claim! Talk about above and beyond! The Collision Lab's dedication to customer satisfaction, quality of work, and punctuality, is unrivaled. I HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you so much Byron and Guy!

Overall, a good experience. The work took a little longer than expected, because they forgot to resurface the wheel at first. However, they went above and beyond by retouching some paint damage at no cost to me that insurance wouldn't cover.

In trying to sell my truck, I needed to fix old damage to the rear fender which had started to rust. The Collision Lab gave me a fair estimate and completed the work perfectly. They matched the paint exactly and made the fender look like the best part of the truck. I also found the manager and the estimator to be 2 of the most personable and professional people I have ever dealt with. The work also comes with a lifetime warranty, which normally would be great, but I sold the vehicle 5 days later and received about $2,000 more than I would have before the work was completed. Great company, great work and great staff. I could not be happier.

"^^^^This is a fake review^^^^ First of all that is not the way we run our business, you can you many other reviews and none will have this accusations. We are not perfect however I will always take care of anything to make the client happy. We are a relatively small shop so I would certainly remember an $11,000.00 repair. I looked back at the date in question and even when back all the way to January and there is nothing with that name matching any of our records or a repaired vehicle in the $11,000.00 range. I'm not sure who wrote this or why but I have reported it to the proper department with Angie's List. As a business owner that thrives to take care of each customer and always do the right thing I'm glad that there are in place that gives business owners the chance legally to fight defamation and libelous and statements online. I have turned it over to an attorney so he may get to the bottom of this. If anyone would like to call me personally and ask any questions I will be more than happy to speak with you."

They were approximately the same price as the dealer. My experience with them had been better than the dealer. I used them a month ago to repair my Camry and they did a good job. Prompt, professional and reliable.

Called on Monday and was told bumper didn't get in until late Friday which would mean vehicle would not be ready until Tuesday. Bumper was new and looks great on vehicle. Paint match was excellent and all look as if new. Shop also detailed the inside of the vehicle. When daughter was there, she gave the "looks good" and I paid with CC by phone at that time. Saw vehicle a week later and agreed with daughter that it was a job well done. The shop Supervisor Byron was very courteous when I spoke with him by phone and again when discussing the job with him in person. Shop owner Gus was also very courteous and ended up with as price a little bit lower than originally estimated.

I was rear ended back in November of 2013 and had a very hard time working with the insurance company to obtain a claim. Finally got an initial check for the repair work and had The Collision Lab do the work.
They did a very nice job of matching the paint and the rear bumper looks good as new. As an added bonus they did a nice job of detailing my car as well. If I had another issue with my car I would probably take it there. They were very responsive and worked with me as well as kept me posted on how the work was progressing. Took an extra day beyond what we thought it would but they took care of the details which was helpfull. Especially since this was my first issue with dealing with an insurance company especially such a poor one. I am very grateful my insurance company and next time I will use my insurance company to chase down the other one.

Overall, a very good experience. We had obtained three estimates for the repair and decided upon the Collision Lab based upon customer reviews and price. The work was on an older vehicle that someone had hit and run in a car park. We are very pleased with the work done and price paid. Work was completed one day later than promised. As an Angie's List customer, they also detailed the car and did some paint touch-ups. Would definitely use them again even though they are quite a distance from our home. They made the trip worthwhile.

It went fairly well during the repairs, however, they assured me, in writing via email, that they would use only Lexus OEM parts. I have been to two Lexus dealers for service since and they advised that aftermarket parts were used. The second Lexus dealer provided this info as a result of my asking them to check a noise in the front end and they advised the shocks were aftermarket and loose. Collision lab told me they would replace brake parts in the left front to match brake parts on the right front repairs. When the car was at Lexus for a recent service they indicated the brake pads were at 5mm and needed replacing soon. So, its evident that Collision Lab did not replace the brakes parts. I contacted Collision Lab mid-September and they said they would respond within a week and I have yet to receive resolution. I am not satisfied as that they did not use OEM parts as they told me they would. They had even assured me that they had requested the insurance adjustor to quote the repairs based on OEM parts.

They delivered what they said they would deliver, within the time frame promised, at the price they promised, and the work looked excellent. I left "Price" a grade of N/A because I was too lazy to shop the estimate around so I really have no idea if I over or under paid. I agreed to the work because I thought the price quoted was within my range of tolerance.

First impressions go a long way and my first impression was great. You don't expect a really nice lobby and office at a body shop but that is exactly what they have here. It is spotless, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Byron was at his desk when I arrived and greeted me with a warm smile, I felt welcomed. He looked at the damage, took pictures, and made copies of the insurance company estimate. I explained that in addition to the damage caused in this accident I wanted to know how much it would cost to repair the previous dent on the fender as I would pay for that myself. Guy, who does the estimates, was not there at the moment so Byron took my information and offered to call back with the estimate for the additional repair. He did within a couple of hours and advised it would only be $120 more so I agreed to have the additional repair done.
I always dread having damage repaired because it seems like it is never exactly the same and my last experience with another company fixing far more extensive damage caused by another driver was terrible and seemingly endless involving multiple returns to get it right. This experience could not have been more different. I asked how long it would take and Byron said best case Friday (it was Wednesday) but more likely Monday. It was ready Friday! When Byron called, I was at work and would not be able to pick it up before they closed. As they were closed Saturday I said I would pick it up Monday. He mentioned that another Angie's List customer was needing to drop off their car on Saturday at 3 P.M. and I could pick it up then if I wanted. I was shocked that he was going to the shop just so that an Angie's List customer could drop off at their convenience! As I was going out of town I told him I would still need to pick it up Monday and he said that was fine.
I was very impressed with their work! There is absolutely no evidence of any damage, none. Also, they touched up a deep scratch on the door, probably caused by someone else's door and some other minor stuff. As an Angie's List customer they also detail the car before it is picked up. Of course, in my case, that meant it was raining when I picked it up, lol.

It went great, The price was very good - everything was done less than a major auto glass company wanted just to replace the window.
I was flexible with my timing as the car is not a main vehicle and they did the work on the car around my schedule.
I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

They did a first class job. The original estimate called for a repair of the front bumper. However when Guy pullled it off he discovered more damage than first thought so he replaced the bumper at no additional charge.

The work to repair the damage was exceptionally well done, but that was what we expected as a minimum. What impressed us more was (1) the quote was about 1/3 the amount that was quoted by Service King; (2) it took them 1 day to complete the work (we were given an estimate of 1 week from Service King); and (3) beyond doing the work we requested, the Collision Lab repair team went around the car and buffed out other smaller scratches and dents at no extra charge.
There was a mix up on the pick up day and time (because they wanted to do the extra work) and so when we picked up the car, Guy also gave us a Starbucks gift card! We highly recommend The Collision Lab. They perform amazing work and provide exceptional customer service.

This place is awesome! We were able to go online and provide photos of the damage and received an estimate for the work without having to go in. We then pre-arranged a date to drop off our vehicle. The work was completed on time as promised. The repair and paint look perfect and my husband is a picky Engineer. They even detailed my car. This place exceeded my expectations. If I ever need body work done on my cars I will definitely go there again. I would highly recommend Collision Lab.

The entire experience with Gu and Byron at the Collision Lab was superior. I sent guy some photo of the damage to my car and he was able to send back a rough quote to make the repairs. I was astounded. I was planning on spending in the multiple thousands and his quote was just below the $1K mark. When I made the arrangements to drop the car off they had made arrangements with Enterprise for a rental. In a couple of days as promised the car was ready. The work was impeccable.
They also did a wash and wax and the car looked like it rolled off the showroom floor. Their location is very convenient to I-45 and downtown Houston. Their offices and waiting area are comfortable and clean. This is a business that understands customer service and knows how to execute it.

After my accident in Nov., I went to several body shops on Angie's list to get an estimate. I selected The Collision Lab because of the excellent reviews I have read from others on Angie's list and how Guy and his staff made me felt the first day I walked in there. Excellent customer service. Guy looked at my van and told me what needed to be replaced and gave me a written estimate on the spot. He told me it would take 3 days for the van to be repaired. I really did not want my van in the shop for 3 days b/c I needed it for work. I asked him if he could just removed the damaged bumper to get the color match for the new bumper so I can take my van with me. He agreed. This really made my day b/c I still have my van to use and the repair is being done at the same time. No need to rent a rental car. It took less than an hour for them to install the new bumper. While the bumper was being installed, Guy was nice to have a movie for us to watch in his waiting room. I was pleased with his work. If you looked at my van today, you would not know this van has been in an accident. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends. Thank you Guy and your team for an excellent experience.

I was very pleased with the helpfulness of Collision Lab. Although we decided not to get the repairs done based on the age of car and extent of damage, I thought the cost of the repairs were reasonable. If I have an accident in future I will call them to handle it.
