Just had roof installed less than 6 months ago. They did a great job on the install, and cleanup. We had water leaks during the rains of Harvey around the furnace vent. I called them to see about getting it checked, and also checking the other vents just to make sure everything looks good. He laughed at me, told me they dont warranty named storms, and he would send someone out for $150. I wasn't looking for free work, just someone knowledgeable to double check and make sure everything is installed correctly. My home flooded, I'm trying to recover and get my home livable again, and i get laughed at by a guy i gave thousands to for a roof. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Had to call them back to finish installing the flashing around fire place. Instead of repairing warped decking, they chose to ad deck screws to repair decking. Six months later I noticed decking begin to warp again in same place, have called them three times in the last month and am told each time by Kevin that someone would be out the same week to evaluate and repair at no additional cost. A month later have not heard or seen anyone. Next step contacting BBB.

My father was in construction - so, growing up - I saw a lot of construction - including roofing...  as a kid - I used to haul shingles up to the roofers - especially after tornadoes and hailstorms in OK...
So, 3 hurricanes ago - many roofs needed replacement - and I saw them going on down here - and I didn't care for most of the roofers - because they were using 'nail-guns'...  I had to get some sections of shingles replaced - BECAUSE the builder used contractors with nail guns... :-/  (You see - if the air pressure is a little off - or the gun isn't held perfectly - the roofing nail 'cuts' into the shingle - and over time - the nail will 'pull through' the shingle - meaning that the only thing holding the shingle in place is the adhesive that is supposed to keep wind from getting 'under' the shingle... so, the shingle can 'slip' - hand nailing the shingle - with a shingle hatchet - is more labor intensive - but much better for 'quality' ;-) )
I noticed one crew - that didn't have an air compressor in sight - so, I found *Texas Top*...  each time we had a hurricane - more shingles would 'slip' - and I would get Chris (Texas Top) - to come out and fix those ares...
This year, after the hail we had in the area in Jan - I called State Farm - and had them check the roof - and - they did say I had some hail damage...  So, 2% deductible - and I called Chris - and they came out - 
1. stripped old roof off - 
2. new roof - and they use 'lead' covers for the pipes coming through the roof - much better because the old plastic ones - Houston sun will destroy over time and they let water into the attic...
3. Cleaned up perfectly - use magnets to go around and pick up nails hiding in the grass and flower beds...
4.  On this home - (I had it built from 'dirt' ) there was a leak that only occurred when the wind was from one particular direction - and it took forever for me to find it for David Weekly ;-)  I pointed that area out to Chris and his crew - and today - Chris came back and sealed that particular area to my satisfaction...
Now, I have a roof that I am very pleased with - hand nailed... and it will last for much longer than the original roof! - given the same weather conditions... ;-)  LOL...
I can't recommend these people highly enough - quality work - good price - and very responsive...
The might not be the cheapest - but sometimes - cheap...  well, you get what you pay for... ;-)  
I'll just say - if there's a problem with my roof - or any roof in my area - I always recommend Texas Top to anyone who will listen ;-)

I had a redundant attic vent that had been leaking for quite some time, finally manifesting itself after damage had been done to the OSB decking.  Chris and his employee were very professional and courteous, and the job was handled in a very professional manner.  I would recommend Texas Top Roofing & Siding without reservation

I called on an emergent basis due to a leak discovered during recent heavy rain. I was able to get a same day response and Chris showed up half an hour early. He was very professional and honest in his assessment. Minor resealing was performed around an attic vent and future options discussed. Overall a very positive experience. I will definitely call again for for future needs

Job went smoothly. Used his normal siding crew to do job in about six hours. Was pleased. Also left siding channels so I could install a skirt around house later on. Had small holdup with TWIA (TX Windstorm Ins) - had job done to standards that rest of house was constructed under. Did not tear into side of house to provide more support, etc. This was ok with daughter's house insurance company (St Farm).

Used this same company with my own house in Clear Lake City about 10 yrs ago. Entire house had vinyl siding installed. 

We requested a quote from Texas Top Roofing as we have seen their work on many of the houses in our neighborhood, One of the owners, Chris with Texas Top Roofing arrived as scheduled. He was great to work with. The price was very reasonable. The roofers arrived on time and completed the work in less than 2 days. They did a great job with their cleanup as well. Would definitely recommend them. Very pleased with their work.

I received many quotes to replace my roof. I decided to go with Texas Top after seeing a neighbors roof they did the previous year. The roofing crew was very proffesional, punctual, and did excellent work. They took care to cover my pool with tarps and constantly were cleaning up the debris. I have had beyond bad experiences with contractors in the past (Root, Branch, 'N' All tree removal), but Texas Top Roofing was perfect. I am extremely happy with their work. I will use them again when replacing my siding which they already quoted me on. The pictures of the pool and patio are to show how extremely clean and careful they were with my yard. I did not have to clean any of it. They left it that clean. Highly recommend them.

Went great. They came out at the time they said, and finished in 1 day. They cleaned up all the debris from the old roof and swept and cleaned up the deck, porch and gutters. The new roof looks great. Received my bill a week later and it was for the same amount quoted (no hidden extra charges). And the amount quoted was $1200. less than another company with a similar bid. They replaced all of the vents that come out of the roof, extended my ridge vents to completely across the peak (both top of house and peak of garage) and put on the roof that I selected. I am very pleased with both the person who came out to quote and the workers. Would recommend them (and have) to others.
