I had an awful experience with this company. The person who came to seal my stone sprayed sealant ALL over my brand new glass waterline pool tile. Why they didn’t use a roller in these spots is beyond me. I paid a lot of money for this service and they came out and totally disrespected my property. The owner was completely rude about trying to resolve the issue. I also received an email from the company stating that they would not honor my warranty unless I removed my negative review on Google. Use this company at your own risk.
Response from Texas Stone Sealers
"We are sorry for your experience. We have addressed the over drip issue with the tech that performed your installation. Additionally we asked you if we could remove excess sealant ( as not is an easy fix) and you declined. We did our best in several conversations with you.As agreed, we gave you a partial refund and extended your warranty. You in turn sent us a signed agreement that you are entirely satisfied. Your surface is now fully protected with our long lasting sealant. We have numerous positive reviews attesting to our professionalism and good work. We will continue to do our best TSS Team"

Jared was our technician and did an outstanding job. Our salt water pool had been breaking down the flagstone to a fine sand that would settle to the sun shelf and pool steps. With brushing it would ultimately end up in the pool D.E. Filter which required it to be cleaned more frequently. Since we had Texas Stone Sealers apply their proprietary sealant, the fine sand no longer shows up and the flagstone looks far more attractive than it did before. We went for the darker, richer look (but not the wet look) and have been very pleased. It has been three years since our initial application and the salt water pool protection is still working great. We opted to take advantage of their “once in the first five years” warranty reapplication for a nominal fee to restore the rich, darker look we had originally. Jared has also been our technician for the reapplication. He has been very thorough and when we had a small area that needed a fix he was responsive in fitting us into his busy schedule and our large deck once again looks awesome! One comment for those with flagstone or other natural rock issues with a salt water pool. Much of the material I read suggested that unless the rock was sealed at the start, the problem with fine disintegration of the flagstone into a sand would be very difficult to stop. I can’t speak for all materials, but the Texas Stone Sealers product did successfully stop the problems we had been having even though it was not applied until almost ten years after the pool and deck were installed.

The stone all around our pool was in bad shape. We called Texas Stone Sealers and they immediately provided a quote and scheduled the work. The workers arrived promptly and completed the job in the time they had originally estimated. The workers were pleasant and hard working. We had absolutely no issues with this company. We have already provided their contact information to our family members who need some stone sealed this spring. If you want a very reliable company to work for you call Texas Stone Sealers. You will be very happy you did.

After pressure washing, I used a hand held pump up sprayer to spray the product onto the stone. Two coats, minimal effort and it was done. Looks totally natural. You can buy a different version of the product which keeps the surface looking wet. I wanted a natural look and am very satisfied with the result.

They overall did a great job.  They pressure washed the stone until it was free of mold, and would have filled in most cracks for free had I not taken care of it myself.  They then applied the sealant, and offer a five year guarantee on its durability.  They also moved the furniture I have in back, and got it all back where it belongs once the sealant had dried.

We had to try and schedule around all rain we have experienced in the Dallas area over the past 3 months. Cody was great. We gave him the gate code and he worked around the weather and to our surprise worked us in a week early. He did a GREAT JOB. We had to have him back out to touch up a couple of areas and he was back within a couple of days. The stone looks better that we had imagined. I would not hesitate to refer Texas Stone Sealers, and especially Cody to anyone. My wife was so impressed we are considering having our stone fireplace sealed.

Great! These guys are the best! They came last August and did a great job. The pool is Ok flagstone and the patio is belgrade pavers. Almost a year out and look fantastic. We had major sanding and flaking before they came in. I would highly recommend.

Texas Stone Sealers did a great job. They were friendly and professional. Their work seems to be very good - although I will have to reserve judgment on their sealant until I see how it holds up. They do warranty their sealant for 4 years, which again, I will have to reserve judgment on.
Our stone had become stained and quite dirty over the past year. Instead of cleaning it myself, I decided I would have Texas Stone Sealers take care of it for me. Having sealed the patio myself in the past, I knew the sealants (I had used Dupont before) were quite pricey.
My only hesitation was the brand of sealant Texas Stone Sealers uses. You can see on their website it is called TSS (which I can only assume stands for Texas Stone Sealers). So it appears they use their own proprietary products. Now there may be nothing wrong with that, but I just can't review and check the quality of the sealant beforehand. So far it seems to repel water just fine, but the true test will be over the coming months and years. I will say that Texas Stone Sealers seems to have a very good reputation across Texas, so I decided to trust them and their choice of sealant.
To be honest, I probably will just do this job myself next time. They even sell the sealants online, if I decide I like their product. All in all, it took one man from Texas Stone Sealers about 2 hours to clean and seal the patio. If you estimate that the cost of materials was about $1000 (which is likely generous), I paid one person $750/hour. I'm sure there are times when the cleaning is going to take much longer (deep seated stains, etc) or require more people, but I could see that our patio cleaned off very easily. They charge a flat rate per square foot, it doesn't matter how clean or dirty your stone is. A portion of the patio was covered and really only needed a light cleaning, but still cost just as much as the dirtiest sections ($3/sqaure foot to clean and seal).

Could not be happier. Ron never came to the house. Did the bid and evaluation by email ant texts. Would have been more comfortable with his showing up at least once. Still the work was perfect so it is hard to complain. Never followed up after the job was done either which would have been a nice touch. Great job!

Our pool, patio deck and walkway is Oklahoma flagstone and we needed sealing work to be done. We also have a small section of stamped concrete. We shopped around for a while and came across the Texas stone sealers company, and we found mostly good reviews and a bad review here on Angie’s list. We moved on because we were skeptical of the review, but due to scheduling issues and more bad reviews with a few other companies, we decided to give them a call to speak with them and feel the situation out. We asked if we could get a referral, which they gave us a couple, and they were very nice and helpful on the phone, so we took a chance with them. Our experience was way better then we expected with this company. They did arrive late on the day we were scheduled, but they did call us ahead of time and explained the situation. They said they were picking up supplies for the job and had to go to a different supplier than they had planned to get some kind of chemical that they needed. We were kinda worried about them being late as being the start to a bad experience, but the work they did made up for it. Our pool, patio and walkway looks incredible. They gave us some good advice for maintaining the new look for as long as possible. They showed us what to look for as far as what was covered under their warranty, which actually threw me back a little. I have never had any other service company specifically point out what I need to watch for that would bring them back to fix any work that didn’t last. At that point, I knew we had made a good choice in hiring these guys. We will definitely use them again when our patio needs sealing and for pressure washing services.

The process took 5 days and during that time the workers arrived on time each day and worked all day.  It was a long tedious

job.  They were courteous, very knowledge about the subject when I asked them questions. They knew the answers and

gave me the information I needed.  Ron gave me a guarantee in case we had any problems.

I couldn't be more pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone who has a flagstone issue.
