Brown patches and rarely notified when they treated the yard. I refused to pay when they claimed they serviced the yard and no evidence of them showing up and grass wilted and brown patches proliferated. Their response: They dinged my credit record for non-payment and refuse to fix the yard problem. Brilliant.

After two applications, grass died. Service was stopped. Company claims they came out again and then demanded payment. Never tried to remedy the situation. Then they turned the account over to a collection agency which has hounded me for years for a $50 debt that I refuse to pay on the grounds that there is no evidence that they actually provided a service. Jim either refuses to return phone calls to discuss the situation or, when he did answer the phone, all he wanted was his $50 and he will not stand by his product/service or make good on his promises.

Applications were made timely (about 9-12 months ago). No problem with that aspect.
Since the treatments did not resolve the issues and the sod continued to die, TGT was asked to stop providing service. They made NO attempts to correct the problems or to find out whether the problems were caused by fungus or insects. 
Final payment was withheld because of refusal to answer calls or complaints. As a result, the started collections activity and negative information appears on my credit reports. The amounts are disputed since service was a failure and nobody is willing to answer the phone, return calls, or otherwise fix the problems, first of the application itself, and now of the billing. As a result, they get an F for professionalism.

We've used Texas Green Turf for 2 years now and they're wonderful. These guys have always been very professional, worked with us on everything and our yard looks fantastic. You don't know when they're coming but they let you know they were there. They are very flexible, if you need somebody to tell them that they're coming, they're always were very good about making sure that we knew they were coming when we had a dog so we can always make adjustments. We have an annual contract with them. They come every 6 weeks.

This company was supposed to provide weed and fertilization service to my front and back yard.  After several months of service, my front yard was still in good shape, but I had lost the small amount of grass in the backyard, and had a bumper crop of weeds instead.  I called the company at least twice to say I wasn't happy with the results in the back yard and they offered to come take a look and re-evaluate.  I cancelled the service after the 2nd re-evaluation.  They have been unhelpful over the phone, insisting that I pay for the full treatment, even though my results have been so bad.  I feel I was way overcharged for the results I got and now my backyard is in worse shape than it was when I started with them.

Texas Green Turf killed the grass in my front yard. There are large tan streaks where TGT over-applied fertilizer and the grass is now dead and it will be a long while before it is re-rooted and grows again...hopefully by year's end.I called the owner of TGT to complain about the large areas of dead grass in my front yard. He laughed, a belly laugh, and hung up on me.I do not recommend this lousy business because they are amateurs.
