Texas Flooring and Renovations replaced the Laminate Flooring and Carpets at our new home. They did an excellent job keeping me up to date with their work. The work done was also very good. We had an issue when the carpet installers installed the wrong type/color of carpet. As we were not living in our home yet, we were unable to confirm the carpet before installation. When we came to check the house later that day, I saw the error and called Gilbert. Gilbert did his own checking and promptly agreed to replace the carpet with the correct one without any questions asked ! I am very impressed with this level of service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and plan on using their services again in future.

On May 7th, walked into Texas Flooring at corner of West Rd/Jones Rd.. I was meet by Thomas Lemke, we discussed laminate samples he had available in my price range. I told him, upfront, what I was looking for regarding our budget and that I had been looking for flooring for about 6 months. He let me take a couple samples (which were really big) home to see if one would match the flooring in our middle bedroom. The next day May 8th, Mr. Lemke came and measured our rooms and gave me a price on what I had requested.
On May 9th, he called and scheduled, our install. Yesterday the installers came at 9:15AM, which was exactly a little earlier than I anticipated. The installers went about their business, asked if we wanted to check on progress so far, which we did, and everything was moving along great. The floors were looking beautiful, around 4:30pm, they asked again if we wanted to look at their progress and we did, the flooring was looking beautiful, however, the quarter round was not the correct product. Carlos, who was one of the installers, said not to worry, they would get the quarter round removed and the supervisor would go and get the correct product. He was very very assuring that my job would be done to my satisfaction, no matter what. They finished installing the quarter round, cleaned up both inside and also in my garage. Carlos, was very pleasant, and we are really pleased with our floors..
I believe, that we managed to get a better product by shopping around and visiting different stores. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Texas Flooring and Renovations. Do not hesitate to give them a call for your flooring..

There was a little bit of a communication problem because the crew mostly spoke Spanish and the foreman didn't come along. I had to oversee the work. The work quality was good, as well as the price. I would not hire them again because of the lack of communication and because the foreman didn't come with the crew.
Response from Texas Flooring & Renovation
"The project actually consisted of putting slate tile on the floors, walls, and counters in a shower/wet room configuration. It also included building up the floor and waterproofing all the floors and walls. The price of $1500 was about half of cost and a misquote. I stood behind the quote and completed the job with high quality. The homeowner did try to contact us again at a later date for more work, but did not want to pay the price quoted which was more in line with market prices."
