Texas Chimney

Had multiple issues with our fireplace in a home we remodeled 8 years ago but did not have the fireplace serviced. The house was built in 1960â s and we needed brick work on the outside repaired, fire brick repair in the firebox and a thorough inspection done to get us up to snuff. Edgar from Lone Star Fireplace came out and walked us thru all the needed repairs which I visualized myself and completely agreed with the scope of the work. I was able to schedule to repairs with Edgar and Rachel in there office about a week later. Edgar text me his arrival time and did all the required service we had discussed. The results are excellent and we are now good to go for next years fireplace season. All was completed in a day with exception of the fire box remortar as he need assistance to complete. SIMHA went beyond the normal service and ensured my gas fireplace was fixed and working correctly. He even came out a second time on Christmas Eve! I would hire again and again.

Edwin and Navar were great, as were the rest of the team. We needed a lot of chimney repairs along with replacing the ceramic tiles in the firebox. They could have upsold but instead they found some savings which my budget appreciated. They were done in a day, very prompt, and courteous. I will use them again for a yearly check and clean going forward.

Horrible experience. No customer service. Never return calls. No show. Claimed they called me and left 2 messages then turned around. I had no missed calls. Asked them what number they called. Gave me some random number not even close to mine said was sending him back out. Spoke to NADIV. Verified my address. It was NOT my address. Finally showed up. All we needed was pilot lit. Its hard for us to light each season. Other companies had no trouble at all this guy just wanted to sell us services like cleaning out which we had just done and wanted to paint it. All we wanted was to light pilot. He barely tried. Said would be over $800 FOR PARTS in order to light But did not know exact price would send us a written estimate. He admitted he knew nothing about our brand of fireplace but would Google it and check with his boss. Sure I want to pay over $800 to a company who says they know nothing about your fireplace. AND IT HAS BEEN OVER A WEEK NEVER RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE. THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED US AT ALL. I have called a other company. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Very reasonable

It was more like cleaning service anybody could have done. The tech took stuff out clean and put back. They were not even going to to the chimney brushing if I did not insisted. Total charge $300.00.

The service was impeccable. They were very professional and courteous. I did not know how to use my gas fireplace. They explained everything with much patience. I was very pleased.

Very professional. Fixed everything. Replaced only what was absolutely necessary. Was very reasonable on the service charge fee.

I cant recommend this contractor for others. I initially contacted them to come to my house to provide a quote to get our fireplace working. the remote ignition had stopped working and really just needed to be refurbished. They initially wanted to charge me to come over to provide a quote. I told them that I would not pay for a quote, then they relented and said they would simply come over. They came over to provide the quote and stated a price that would include everything needed to include fence, remote ignition, sanding and painting, new glowing embers, etc.. from the reps mouth exactly, " we will do everything to make it work and look great.". no actual quote was provided.. agreed based on a handshake. the day the work was supposed to ve performed was a total wreck. we committed on a timeframe in which they called to inform they didnt have the address. then they called to say they would be here after the time scheduled but this was already after the agreed time frame. they finally showed up after numerous calls back and forth. the technician was GREAT and none of this was his fault at all. He was working based on what he waa given in his scope of work which included only PARTS of what was agreed on. after calling the company they proceeded to argue with me over what was agreed on, etc. at the end of the day, the fireplace was repaired and the technician was fantastic but i wont use them ever again due to the experience we received

The work took over 2 weeks to perform. Just needed to change a leaky valve. They broke the old valve and then scheduled repair a week later. They did not keep the appointment. When we inquired they were unsure if the part had been ordered. I don't believe it had. A week later they came back and finished the job. Everything works now. Job was ok. Just not happy about the lack of contact and ineffective communications internally and externally. I will not use them again.
