Had bad engine. Clay worked with me all the way through. Let me know everything. I was never in the dark about anything.

It was a good experience.  It was a very, very clean place.  The people were friendly and they did a good job.  We thought there might be something wrong with the truck after we got it back, so we took it back and they looked at it and said there was nothing wrong with it from what they could tell.  They told us to bring it back if it continued to do it and that was it, but they were good.  It took them about the time that they said it was going to take, maybe a couple of days extra but we weren’t in a rush to get it back because we have two other vehicles we could drive.  It might have taken them a couple of extra days but to me that was okay.

It was a great experience.  Clay ws professional, honest, and responsive from start to finish.  Texon replace the engine on my F-150 with a rebuilt motor.  The price was fair and the work completed in a timely manner.  The completion date was a little delayed but only because the first engine they installed did not meet the post install tests.  Clay was upfront about this and replaced the engine without hesitation.  Texon offers a nice warranty as well.  I will use them again.

Our 2002 Chevy S-10 with 140,000 miles of very rough treatment needed a rebuilt engine. We were referred to Texon by our mechanic of many years. We are very happy with Texon's work. My brother is a GM Certified Master Mechanic and he checked out the truck after the work was completed. Texon's work met his exacting standards. Clay at Texon is as professional as they come. He answered our every question and went over every detail so that we understood what needed to be replaced and why. One suggestion for improvement would be more timely communication initiated by Texon. They had the truck for a week without notifying us of the status of the work. Though, when I called to inquire, the information was provided immediately. If you use Texon, don't hesitate to call and inquire about your vehicle if you don't hear from them as quickly as you expect. A second suggestion for improvement would be that Texon not leave greasy hand prints on the vehicle. Engine work is very dirty and to avoid getting grime on the exterior of the vehicle is impossible, but I'd prefer Texon take a few minutes to wipe off the handprints. These were especially visible on our white truck. Texon's 3 year/36000 mile warranty for parts and labor is a huge plus. We have confidence that they stand behind the parts they use and the labor they provide. We would use Texon again and we recommend them.

They did an excellent job. They gave me a rebuilt motor with a 36,000 mile or 3 year warranty, whichever comes first. They even expanded my gas mileage and I just can't say enough good things about them. They did just what they promised they would do. I took my car to them and they brought me back home and at the end of the day they returned to pick me up. They even sent me a card thanking me for my business. I feel like the price was reasonable for the work they performed. They are extremely nice people and easy to talk to. When my mechanic had a death in his family they called me up and said it would be a couple of days before he would be able to return work on my car. I thought it was thoughtful of them to call and tell me that. They are just fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone that needs their car worked on because they are the best.
