The repair schedule was almost a month after the testing, by then my pump motor had burned out because the water level got too low while we were out of town for 5 days. The repairs finally took place just a month before Hurricane Harvey. It took awhile to see my pool was still leaking. They are scheduled for a return appointment which I have to pay for.

Superior found pool leak at first visit and followed up a few weeks later to make sure leak was repaired properly. I had called another company who came twice before and incorrectly diagnosed where leak was. Superior found leak immediately.

Job well done. I though the cost of the leak detection was high, but when I saw all that was involved in testing the system I think it was appropriate. I gave them a B on price because the bid that I got for the repair of the leak was very high compared to other bids I got. I also called to see if they would come down any on the repair and they would not even though they have a 10% off add on their website.

After hiring another firm for the leak detection, I phoned superior leak detection for a second opinion on the repair.  They told me that was not where my leak was and to get the original leak company back out to find the actual leak.  So, I got the unnamed company out and they then stated the leak was a cracked pipe in the wall else where. So, I called Superior Leak Detection again to come out to do the repair.  When they were here, he found no leak again where the unnamed company stated.  He soon located where it was and found another area that needed a minor repair..  I spent $775 for the total repairs.  Had I gone with the original company, I would have spent over $2,150 with the leaks still not found/repaired. Family owned and operated and found the actual problem, repaired and I found to be reasonable in their pricing.  I dealt with several people in the company and all were very professional and took their time answering any questions.  I found them to be very trustworthy and would highly recommend Superior Leak Detection.

They came out on time and fixed the leak. They very professional. They found the leak so quickly that leaked for more than a year. We were hoping that it wasn't a leak and they found a way to fix the leak underwater.

Charged $450 to come and tell me the problem.  $200 to come and fix it.  They missed three appointments but eventually got there 2 months later.  One month later the same pump system was leaking again. They came back to have a look and found the leak but instead of fixing the problem they told me to get my pool guy to fix it.  They would not respond to calls after that.  Took the money and ran!  They don't clean up after themselves.

I have not heard from this company to rectify the problems they caused me.  I have since discovered that they also reduced the size of pipes going to my pumps and as such drastically changed the hydraulics of my pool.  Too lazy to repair with the correct plumbing.

Every time we turned on our sprayers for our inground pool, the water
level would decrease and we would have standing water behind the pool. We
scheduled an appt., for 05/09 but they called and were able to come a
week early. Randy and Brian came out and within a matter of minutes,
pinpointed the leak. Randy made some great recommendations and saved us,
literally, thousand of dollars. It was refreshing to talk to an
experienced, professional who is not trying to sell you something. I
cannot say enough about this family owned company.

This is an incredible family owned business. When called to set up appointment, Brittany was very helpful in explaining what services they could provide. They called the day prior to confirm appointment. Larry arrived within scheduled time. After briefly describing the issues we were having with our pool, Larry stated that he was certain leak was in strainer and in less than 10 minutes he confirmed with a dye test. The truly impressive action was since we had told Larry what the pool symptons were, which allowed him to pin point where the leak was without using leak detection equipment, he DID NOT CHARGE for the service call. This is a company that truly believes in customer service! I WILL be calling again for ANY issues that I may have in the future.

It went very well. They did the leak test on the day scheduled and called me right away with the results, recommendations and options for repair, and estimates for the individual pieces of work. A couple of their recommendations were to just plug lines that were not really needed rather than pay to repair them. An example was the broken pool fill line. They said the line would be likely to break again, don't pay us to fix it, just fill the pool with the hose. They did the needed repair in one day, on the day scheduled. It involved going through an exposed aggregate (rainbow pea gravel) concrete deck around the pool to get to a couple of return line locations. No problems afterward, and it's hard to even tell where they had to go through the deck. Clean up was good. It was hard to tell they had even been there, except that everything worked right. Price was exactly as quoted and seemed very fair. They follow up as necessary, but it wasn't needed. Overall great experience. I will use them for sure if I ever need this kind of work in the future. Good work, on time, done neatly for the price quoted.

We called a local vinyl pool repair company for their suggestion and they had recommended Superior Leak Detection. We also search Angie's list on this company and was impressed with their feedbacks. They were prompt and very professional. Love their sense of humor. They explained exactly what they were going to do and complete the leak detection in 45 minutes. The leak was coming from the pool light. They showed me what I need to do to fix the problem. Since this was early in April, pool was too cold for me to fix the leak. I was going to wait until the pool warms up.

They had another appt. to take care of and offered to come back to fix the leak for me. They came back couple hours later and fixed the problem as promised. I had offered to pay them for their service but they declined.

Trust and honesty is hard to come by these days. It is great to know there are folks like them out there doing honest work. Thank you!

This company was the second I hired to fix a pool leak. My experience with Superior was completely different than my experienced with the other company. They kept their appointments, they were on time, and they called in advance. I knew exactly what was being done and what I was going to pay.

The guy was here all day. He found and fixed the leak. There were no problems. My husband did all of the price comparison, but he seemed to be please with the price. My husband was expecting them one day, but they didn't show up. We're not really sure where the disconnect was or who's fault it was. They came a little bit early on the day they did show up.

Thought we were experiencing a leak in our sprinkler system and had Leak Detectors of Texas come out to see if they could determine the source of the leak. They came out the first time and dug around the garage for a couple of hours. They thought they fournd a bad piece of PVC and replaced it. Two days later I had them come back out as the area still remained wet and soggy. They dug up an area near the water softner and a sprinkler controller. They ran pressure tests on the house and sprinkler system and detected NO drop in pressure. They "listened"(with a sttghascope-like device to several places in the backyard and could not hear any hissing in the sprinkler system line with pressure applied to the line by a compressor. They also dug in a "wet" area to observe any seepage. They were searching and digging for three hours. Ultimately, no leak was detected and the dampness may be water seepage from the backdoor neighbor's sprinkler system. To date, the area along the garage remains wet. Keep in mind that locating any water leak is dependent on many variables and a difficult task. Leak Dectors of Texas confirmed that I did not have a leak in our sprinkler system and I am satisfied that they did all they could to determine the source of the dampness.

I called Superior to come out and estimate on our pool. They had the best prices out of all of the estimates that we had. They we very professional and detail oriented.

Arrived when they were scheduled. Very friendly and professional. Ran their tests and then gave me a verbal report with recommendations. Sent a written report with receipt in the mail.

The first person found the leak, about a week after I called them. About two weeks later, The repairman confirmed the location of the leak for himself. He then repaired it with alacrity.

I had tried to locate the leak myself and was unable to do so. The supervisor came to our house the day after we called to check the water pressure and locate the leak. He was very professional and located it after only fifteen minutes. The day after that, his two crewmen came over early to repair it. This took approximately two hours. The estimate for the repair was twice what we were actually charged. Normally companies charge at least what the estimate was. This saved us over two hundred and fifty dollars.
