Although sewer pipe was difficult to unplug, the plumbers were successful and everything has drained well since the work.

I have used Stratton in the past and love them. They are prompt, courteous, professional, honest and have fair prices.
Yesterday our in-sink garbage disposal quit working so I called Strutton today. Don from Strutton said before we come out there let's check a couple of things that might fix it. First, on the bottom is a red "reset" button which often fixes the problem. That didn't work. Next, right in the center of the bottom is an allen wrench socket. You should have gotten an allen wrench that came with the disposal but if not find one that fits. See if the socket seems tight, if it does, it's jammed so try turning the socket left or right until it is loose. BINGO! problem solved.
Just about anyone else would have sent a technician out for an easy $100, but Don walked me through the fix over the phone at no cost.

Went well.  I had two stopped toilets and assumed there was a problem with the main line, since it seemed too unlikely that two toilets would independently have problems within a few hours of each other.  So I called and got an appointment, same day, for someone to check and clear what I assumed were roots from my main sewer line.
Luckily I was wrong.  Plumber realized quickly that the main line wasn't the issue.  He then fixed the two clogged toilets, and cleaned out a neighboring tub drain while he was at it.
In nutshell, did everything he needed to do and a bit more.  So good service and good value.

One AC contractor indicated we needed certain things on a critical basis. Strutton, our second opinon, did not agree and made some simple adjustments at a minimal cost. They were honest and seemed to interested in doing what's right, not what could make them more money.

Dexter from Strutton Plumbing came to our house to make an estimate on replacing the water heater. He was professional and knowledgeable. However, when the estimate arrived by email, it had some errors in it, so I don't know if the price was comparable to other plumbers for replacing the water heater. In the end, I used a different plumber to replace the water heater.

I called for an estimate on having my water meter replaced. I left a message with the receptionist for the person in charge of estimates. No one ever called me back.

Elliot (the repair service rep) arrived on time for the next-day appointment and was professional and courteous. He cut a hole in the wall behind the bathtub and installed a service door (access panel). After performing his inspection he concluded that there were no leaking pipes but that water was seeping in between the tiles and the bathtub getting around the lip of the tub and draining down a 2X4 wall stud and dripping onto the ceiling below. He showed me that the outside of the plumbing drain lines were all dry and he showed me the visible water coming from the top of the tub. To my delight the solution was an inexpensive recaulking around the tile line on the bathtub and no expensive drain repairs.

I called Strutton Plumbing to fix a leaky faucet and a leaky drain. They made an appointment for the next day, and showed up on time. The office even called to say he was on the way. Elliott fixed both problems promptly, and left the sink area even cleaner than it was when he started.
I absolutely recommend this company, and will definitely use them next time we have a problem. He was prompt, friendly, neat, and explained the situation and what he'd done clearly. I appreciated that they offered a 10% senior discount.
Not the cheapest plumber in town, but sometimes you get what you pay for! This company provided outstanding, prompt service at a fair price.

There were several issues that came up with blocked drains, etc. due to careless installation. They did take care of all of those. However, we were charged for some repairs that we shouldn't have been charged for. Called to schedule an appointment for some slow running faucets, was told dispatcher would call back - never did.

The guy in charge gave us several options and ideas of where to move things around. The new pipes were of copper tubing instead of plastic. We have recommended them to others.
