They were great they did also my neighbors , very professional specifically in my case in the process the screen were torn they already said they would do that and replace does with no extra charge timely and they cleaned up after did a very nice job

They were professional, had good references (my best friend used Strata for two roof replacements), comparably priced with other roofing companies. I went with Strata over other companies because of the references and because Strata could do the roof and the inside repairs. The work is beautiful. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. There were two things that needed touch up. One was a miscommunication on my part. They came back right away and took care of these. On this miscommunication, I purchased the paint and they did the work.

The company Strata Roofing & Construction Co. did the roof in a timely manner. They collected half of the payment and I have not heard from them since. The payment was made July 27 th and today is September 19th. There is replacement of trim and painting to be done. I am waiting for their finishing touches before final payment.

My new roof was installed on August 6, 2015...a delay due to my vacation plans. The crew did a great job and cleanup was wonderful. In addition, they cleaned/fixed gutters, downspouts, and a few window screens. The staff at Strata Roofing always returned all my calls immediately and, again, were very professional and friendly. I give them an A+ !

Worked with Rio Walling.  Great communication, competitive bid and quality job.
We did have a leak from a misplaced nail around some flashing.  Rio and team came within  a half day of my calling and fixed the issue, no problems since.

The crew showed early in the morning and worked steadily till early evening. I was impressed by how well they all worked together as a team and how smoothly and quickly the job went. They took off the old roof, replaced a few pieces of rotten wood where needed. The new shingles were 50 year, hurricane resistant Certainteed brand and were applied using hammer and nails, not nail guns as some others I have seen. The clean up was done very well, they used a Magnetic roller to pick up the nails and picked up all the shingles. I only saw 2 shingles in the planter. There was a spot where there was a valley, that when it rained, it would pool on the patio and flow twoard the house. They fixed it without my even mentioning it so that now the water projects out more. Bryan was very professional and so was the crew. I was comfortable knowing he carried insurance because I know of someone who used a company that was not. A crew member fell off the roof and ultimately the owner was sued. I am very satisfied and feel they did an excellent job. Bryan got on the roof to give the final inspection and all was good. I highly recommend them.

I bought the $4,950 new roof with architectural 3-D shingles.  They provided an estimate quickly, which ended up being $6,700 as my house (approx 1580 sqft single story) had a roof that was more square footage than the deal provided.
The job was done in a reasonably speedy time and appears to be holding up well.

     In the beginning I developed a scope of work document to ensure my expectations of what was required for this job aligned to that in the contractor's bid. After reviewing the bid's received, Strata was selected since they best understood what was required to complete this job, had experience with these types of roof's, and the professionalism shown through our several discussions discussing / clarifying the work scope.

     Over the course of the installation, working with the Strata team was overall a pleasant experience. They worked with me when any questions / concerns arose since their goal was to ensure there was little stress from start to finish. For me since I was installing a premium shingle roof (CertainTeed Presidential Shake) on my two story home I needed to ensure the right company was doing the work, and not necessarily the cheapest. It has been three months since the install and I have had no issues of any sort and to date have had several compliments on the overall look and installation of the roof.

I contacted Bryan Meyer of Strata on Friday, Jul 25.  After our call, he came the next Monday of my contacting him. He called the next day (Tu 29th) with his bid and brought the bid and his insurance certificate the next afternoon.
On later visits to our home, a new hire, Matt Bush, accompanied him. Matt was very helpful in the color selection process which was the most difficult part for my wife. Matt patiently listened and talked her through.  Brian and Matt also gave us a list of addresses where roofs that are this particular color had been installed. That was most informative because we could see how our selection would look installed on our house.
 
The Strata bid was similar to bids from other roofing contractors for equivalent shingles.  However, we chose an upgrade to get the solar reflective and algae resistance properties in the color we wanted.  That color turned out to be discontinued and Bryan went to great lengths to find shingles of the correct color.  He was able to get them from a supplier in Katy who was planning to use them on his own house.
 
The roofing crew promptly showed up, Thursday, Aug 7 at 6:45 a.m., on time, on the scheduled day and worked into the evening until the roof was finished.  The foreman, Jose, introduced himself to us when they arrived.  The roofers had trucks marked with the company logo and most of the crew were wearing company shirts.  The clean-up was excellent with only a few nails and small pieces of shingle left in the yard. Stata employed a dedicated clean up person, who circled the yard all day long picking up stray pieces that fell. Brian told us Strata recycles the asphalt shingles to save the expense of landfill fees. We definitely appreciated that and the fact our old roof was re-utilized as road materials.
Matt was on site a good bit of the day to make sure the job went well, as was Brian who made sure the materials arrived on time.
The roof looked great when they were done and the color complements the house very well.  One of the valleys in the roof had the cut edge of the shingles exposed in a way that was not very attractive although it was installed correctly.  Matt came to look at it. Then Brian and the job foreman, Jose came out on Saturday to check what would need to be done. Then on Mon, Aug 11, Two men came out a couple days later, very early again and fixed the valley to improve the appearance. Matt came by to make sure we were satisfied.
Well, the roof is wonderful! Strata worked diligently make it no.
The sales people and the roofing crew were very professional and efficient.  We would use them again and recommend them to Angie?s list members and anyone else who asks about roofing and the great job Strata did for us.

I hired Strata Roofing & Construction to replace the roof on my home. Bryan, the owner came and wrote me an estimate detailing the entire scope of work to be performed. I found Bryan to be a very nice and upstanding man. After looking at all of my estimates I chose Strata to replace my roof. They were not my lowest bid. I felt the scope of work I was going to get was worth the extra cost. The crew showed up on time every day. They worked fast and efficient. They did a very thorough job and were respectful of my property. They cleaned up every day before they left. Included in the job was patching and repainting a ceiling that had gotten wet. That part turned out very good too. I believe Strata Roofing did a very good job. I will call them again for my next project.

it went well...he ran out of materials and came back and completed the job.. i though i only need a shingles..but all the wood was rotten/so he install insulated boards..bryan was polite and courtesy...j furlough

Fantastic job and very quick!

Color me TOTALLY impressed with Strata and especially Rio ... the one in charge of the estimate and crew!!!! From the first phone call everything was handled with care/professionalism.  There was a slight hiccup the day of the estimate - Houston's infamous rain put everyone's schedule in chaos.  Rescheduling was a snap, and Rio even showed up early  wondering if I would mind if he was here early/  MIND???" I was joyful!!!  After his climb on the roof , which I did not join him in - he presented me with a folder containing colors, suggestions as to an upgrade, the insurance paper and other things needed to show that all was on the up-and-up.  He told me the estimate would be in my email at 10am the next day - and  it was.  
The supplies arrived when I was told they would.  The morning of the install I had been told they would be here at 7:30am ... actually, there were folks here at 6:45am getting the ground and pool ready.  At about 7:00am the doorbell rang and one of the workers wanted make sure I got my car out of the garage where the take-away truck would be parked.  And exactly when I was told the project would start - it did.  They worked from 7:30am until almost 7:30pm.  If was, as was promised, done in one day.  Of course, typical Houston, it began to rain as they were finishing - but they stayed and cleaned up.  They next morning when Rio and walked around the house - there was not ONE nail left and only two small pieces of paper.  
Would I recommend them to anyone????  I think the fact that their sign is still up in my yard answers that. 
If you're debating about who to do your roof (and don't wait until they insurance company tells you that you HAVE to) ...call Strata.  I'll even bet two donuts, you won't be disappointed.

Roofer came out after initial hail damage, placed blue tarp to protect roof from rain and prevent further leaks. It then took about 13 months for the insurance company to finally approve the new roof. During this entire time they never charged for the temporary patch, they supplied their own experts to answer questions about the need for the new roof and waited patiently. When the insurance company finally paid us, we had to get laywers and threating to sue first, Strata adjusted their bid to what we were able to neogiate with the insurance company and then replaced our roof for only partial down payment. They waited another few weeks before the company sent the remainder of the claim check to us to finish paying Strata. They never called once to hassle us about where the check was. The roof was completed on time, looks great and they cleaned up after themselves. I will definetely recommend and use them in the future.

They were excellent. They were reasonably priced. They were recommended by our neighbors. When we had hard rain and the roof leaked, they came the same day. No complaints whatsoever.

I had a family of raccoons in my attic - they didn't mind adjusting their time to work around the raccoon catching.  They are super.  Nathan Broofield was excellent.

Can't say enough good things about Strata Roofing and the owner, Brian Meyer. Of all the roofers stopping by to solicit work, Brian made the most favorable impression. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, knew my insurance adjuster, and did zero pressuring. The brochure he left contain information on his insurance coverage, materials to be used, warranties, and letters of recommendation.
Brian stayed in touch with me and the adjuster through the whole process, which was about as painless as I have ever experienced. They spent two hours inspecting my property, and a repair price was determined and approved before the adjuster left. Kudos to Farmer's, because I received a check the following day!
The work was scheduled for Thursday of the following week. Because it rained Thursday morning, the job was pushed to Friday. Brian contact me by phone and email to let me know. The crew arrived Friday around 8:30, and by 5:00 they were done, packed up, and ready to leave.
A supervisor stayed the entire time, they all wore Strata shirts, and everyone I dealt with spoke English. (Very important when you're asking questions or need information!) Lightweight plastic tarps were placed around the house and over the flower beds to catch nails and any stray roofing materials. It was all taken up afterward, and a magnet was used to pick up any stray nails. 
Because I've had bad experiences with other roofing companies, I provided a porta-potty for the crew (about $85 for a week's use). If one had not been available, Strata's policy is to take the crew to a gas station or other public bathroom at least twice per day. (Having the potty here sped things up a bit, because it's a 6 mile drive into town!)
The vinyl siding repairs were performed the following day, and I was just as impressed. There were no problems, everything looks great, and the repairman left the unused material. Because siding manufacturers go out of business often, we won't have to worry about finding matching vinyl down the road. 
The bottom line... I've never worked with a better roofing company, and wouldn't hesitate to use Strata again, or to recommend them to family and friends. Brian and his crews are top notch.
PS: Brian did not ask for money up front: payment was made when the job was done!

It went well. The crews seemed to be consistent. He was very responsive. The contact person was on site with the crew at all times. They did not use nail guns and that was why we chose to go with them. They replaced a lot of the roofs in our neighborhood.

It was a good experience.  They did exactly what they said they were going to do.  The guy did some extra work and didn't charge me for it.
